God I loved Rotc but you'd have to chain those uniforms on me. Looked like a giant green pickle RE: Your Character as a School Student - Zyrusticae - 06-17-2015 The quintessential tomboy. However, she does not bow to peer pressure and never "grows out" of her masculinity (eventually identifying as 'genderqueer' as an adult). Which really shouldn't even be a noteworthy thing, except I've read and watched way too many stories and even actual parenting advice where they treat it as a "phase", which just straight-up pisses me off. *ahem* Anyway, she'd be a massive nerd on account of her dad getting her into computers, which means she'd be absolutely nothing at all like the Eorzean version of T'rahnu aside from being a tomboy, having vaguely SEA features, and possessing an outgoing personality (though I can foresee this part getting squashed over time after the thousandth time being told that people are 'surprised' by a 'girl' being into computers and video games and other 'guy stuff', among other things - wait, sorry, this was supposed to be fun, wasn't it?). You can probably extrapolate what her high school experience would be like from there. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Manari - 06-17-2015 Manari in high school would be almost exactly like (a shorter and more flat chested) Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh. Super quiet, almost doesn't speak to anyone, loves loves loves animals, and is actually really athletic and badass but doesn't want any attention drawn to her because of it. She would be shy and wish people would want to talk to her even as she stands at the back of the room wish her arms crossed over her chest looking nearly unapproachable with her frown, as she silently wished people would approach her. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Spethah - 06-17-2015 School Council President. The one that does her job, gets shit done and leaves people happy and satisfied. All haters get the scowl of doom and Septh is only interested in her role as Council President. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Martiallais - 06-17-2015 Double whammy! Zarek would be the stereotypical kid in the back of class, throwing rolled up straws at people during class, usually late (if not skipping), and generally preferring to rather be anywhere but school. See also that guy who'd take just about any dare for cash. Loves sports (and is pretty good when he actually tries) but hates studying so probably never gets to play. Martiallais is the handsome guy who people probably view as stuck up and/or snobby until you talk to him. Turns out he's that kid always looking for friends! Who knew? And somehow he ends up with a lot of them. Mostly the kind of odd but fun ones. Still he does some of everything, is average at it, but somehow makes it out of school with tons of fond memories. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Suviyo Viyo - 06-17-2015 She'd totally be an awkward nerdy girl... A strange bookish type with a bit of an eccentric flair... The quiet one in drama class prone to occasionally bursting out in small moments of giggling whimsy before retreating to the corner again... The girl who takes part in high school band out of a giddy love for music despite not being very good at it *skronk* (。^_・)ノ♪ RE: Your Character as a School Student - GloryRhodes - 06-17-2015 Annoying reporter concept stays pretty much the same in highschool. ![]() Spahro probably smokes cigarettes behind the gym and is mean to cheerleaders. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Oilbasedoleander - 06-17-2015 R'Elle would be quiet and shy. Mostly because she has to be... injured neck and all, she's a mute. Maybe an artsy type usually found drawing out by a tree. Archery Club. Often seen flailing to get attention and gesturing to try and make her point. She tries so hard... Nervous around the boys and avoids eye contact if she can, but ultimately kind. Chaz... *sigh* what so say about Chaz. Always talking to whoever willing to listen. She'd be incredibly sociable, and awkward at times. Pretty adorable though, a try-hard and go-getter. Optimistic to a fault. Fights behind the school thinking it's playtime while the other teen wants to knock her lights out. Cheerleader with out the "too hot for you" stigma. RE: Your Character as a School Student - ProvaDiServo - 06-17-2015 ![]() The gal that is just a bit too extreme RE: Your Character as a School Student - Arter Wood - 06-17-2015 ![]() Loner Poor Weird Tamaki Arter. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Seriphyn - 06-17-2015 Football jock and bully, but with some sense of justice, rather than a psychotic one. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Leanne - 06-17-2015 Leanne would probably be the 'popular' girl. Diligent and studious with moderately high grades, outgoing and willing to talk with everyone, full of energy and friends. RE: Your Character as a School Student - Hyakki - 06-17-2015 Cromatrie is perfectly the ERP squad in a high school AU RE: Your Character as a School Student - Knight Kat - 06-17-2015 Kiht would be an athletic student that is -very- invested in sports. However, she would be somewhat un-kept and unconcerned about her appearance and popularity... Which is a bit unusual for a High School student. She would hate bullies, and never be one herself. However, she would likely not be the nicest person. She would be frustrated, distracted and close-minded about certain things. For example, she would have higher values for her family's expectations of her academic performance, and far less value for social status with her peers. She would be introverted, but -not- shy. If that confuses some people, look up "introverted vs shy" on the internet, and do some reading. Despite her family placing pressure on her to get good grades, and that being important to her, her grades in the non-athletic classes would be average. The only exception would be History. She would ace history classes. Kiht would likely only have a few friends, and they would likely be students on the low end of the popularity scale. She likes to befriend those who she thinks need friends. As altruistic as it sounds, it is mostly due to her romanticizing of "under-dogs". |
