...did you guys know that July 4 (also known at 7-4-15 or 4-7-15) is ALSO the Fourth of July, as in the holiday? I apparently couldn't piece that together when doing this at work and posting when I got home yesterday.
This event will be held on July 11 instead, because I also have plans that night. The Grindstone will operate normally on the holiday.

I was talking about this event with someone earlier and I told them something that... I thought was mentioned in the opening post but seems to not be. So, I'll ask it for clarification purposes: who is a valid choice to bid on to fight?
We have the participants themselves, sure. But what about people in the crowd? If one of your rivals is hanging out in the wings, mingling with the crowd, can you call them out for a match if you have the gil? And, more importantly, can you bid overseers or the Arbiter himself?
Like, say, someone wanted to see Warren and Judge duke it out. Would that be a thing that people could put up money for? Or is the administration and/or general crowd off-limits as bid targets?

I've got no intentions of limiting participants. As long as the challenged party accepts, anyone's allowed to take part.

Anyone who's seen Warren fight at the Grindstone would have no interest in fighting him at the Grindstone! That said, I suppose I'm on the chopping block as well. I did say I've got no intentions on limiting the participants!
