K'ailia's ears flattened. But her sisters deserved to know, "She was in trouble because she took me to see the elders so I might face their judgment. I had came back to the camp because I did not wish to be like the other exiles, to just run away with no explanations."

She sighed, remembering the hell the elders put her through, "I guess K'nahli seeing and hearing why I was there thought I was right, and took me to the elders tent. The elders disapproved heavily."

Shaking her head she looked to the pearl, "But I am sure she did not suffer as I was forced to. Course I don't know what she went through. Father took me out of the tent to talk for a bit. When we returned, she was already gone."

It was difficult for K'mih to imagine the scene. As much as she tried, she'd never get to fully understand what K'nahli had to go through. All she young miqo'te was certain of was that her sister must have had a hard time, more so when her intentions for letting K'ailia in had been innocent. The adult world was a harsh one.

"I'm sorry you were punished, K'ailia. I hope the elders will allow me to talk to you and visit you..." she said with a sad tone, ears down. "Perhaps I should ask father if it's alright. It should be alright, shouldn't it...? Even if you left the tribe, you won't stop being my dear sister."

K'tahjha sighed, no wonder K'nahli had been upset. If only she hadn't lost her temper with the older girl when she was all ready stressed, things would be so much better. Tahj's ears perked as she heard K'mih ask about telling their father. Ears canted back uncertainly Tahj wondered what would happen if they were caught talking to K'ailia. If nothing else she was certain her pearl would be confiscated.

"The elders said I could trade with the tribe if I wanted to, but I just would no longer be part of the tribe." K'ailia sighed, "But father did try making an offer for me to be able to live in the outsider world, yet remain part of the tribe. That offer was rejected though."

K'ailia began pacing, "When the tribe makes its move, I'd like one of you to let me know ahead of time. The least I can do is organize my allies to keep the bad Amalj'aa distracted."

K'yohko had tried to help K'ailia? For a moment, K'mih wondered if perhaps the cold expression he was sporting the other day was actually concern about his daughter's situation. With her head slightly down, a soft, shy smile was drawn in K'mih's face for a moment.

"Understood, K'ailia! I'll do my best," she said afterward, cheerfully this time. Knowing that she'd be able to keep contact with her was more than enough. "How will I get my own pearl?"

She was holding K'tahjah's pearl with both hands, careful as if it was the most fragile object in the world. K'mih hadn't used one of those before, so she was a bit nervous about breaking it.

K'ailia smiled and pulled out a second pearl, how would she get it to K'mih? Then it dawned on her. The two would have to meet halfway of sorts.

"Take a little stroll out of the tribe camp and head for a place called Byregot's Strike. I will meet you there, along with someone special, if I can find him." she said, stuffing the second pearl back into her pocket she turned around and headed back the way she came. Perhaps she could find her uncle before he left.

Byregot's Strike? K'mih thought she might know where that was. She'd been around the Sagolii desert for playing and hunting, after all.

"N-now? Alright!" She said, slightly nervously. It'd be some sort of adventure for her, and it wouldn't be the first time she ventured into the desert anyway; she wouldn't be breaking any rule, hopefully.

"I'll let mother know that I'm leaving for a while, so that she won't worry."

Her head turned then to K'tahjha, who had been sitting nearby. "Are you coming to meet K'ailia too?" She asked with a smile.

K'tahjha smiled and nodded to her, she surely wasn't letting K'mih wander about the desert alone, K'nahli definately would kill her if anything happened to their sister. Tahj retrieved her bow and quiver and tucked her skinning knife in her boot, then rejoined the pink haired miqo'te for the trip to meet K'ailia.

K'ailia put away her own pearl, then proceeded back through the tunnel. A little while later she arrived back in forgotten springs where she spoke with the chocobo handler and rented one of the chocobos for her trip.

It was a short while later that she caught sight of her uncle K'hai and rode up behind him. After a brief talk, the two headed together to Byregot's Strike and there, waited.
