Yugiri also shares a name with an ancestral katana in Bushido Blade 2, an older Squaresoft game. Coincidence? Probably. But conjecture is fun!

Ohh, looks very neat. Sounds like the perfect set up for a new playable race, indeed. I am in the "probably horns" camp, too. The curvature and the pointy tip don't look much ears to me personally.

The outfit also seems to have a hint of Blue Mage style to it. Or Mime. But I highly doubt the latter.

Also its not going to be Viera. Yoshi-P has said it himself, he is not okay with bunny men. I would like to see a whole new race myself.

I'm pretty hyped to try out Leviathan and Gilgamesh. I know Gilgamesh is a Full party trial (you can see 6 characters: PLD, WAR, SMN, DRG, WHM, BLM). But I really hope that the "he takes your weapon when you lose" is just text added for flavor...

The class/job teasing in those images is driving my brain mad. Yugiri looks an AWFUL lot like some sorta Blue Mage. Thancred rocking twin daggers sounds a lot like Thief to me, and...my mighty Admiral Bloefyswyn putting those pistols to use and maybe opening up the Musketeer.
I KNOW none of this is happening this patch but DAMMIT....THE TEAAAAAASSEES... /flail
