RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Clover - 03-21-2014 I apologize for my ignorance, but I'm a bit confused about retainers. It says a retainer can't have a higher level than you, and that they can't be any job you haven't unlocked yourself. Does this mean that, for example, my White Mage can't have a high level lancer retainer because she's not a high level lancer herself? I wanted to recreate my partner's lancer miqo'te, but now I fear I won't be able to ;w; RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Aldotsk - 03-21-2014 http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/154038-Letter-from-the-Producer-LIVE-Part-XIII-Q-A-Updates They ignored about musketeer again. This class is never gonna be answered at all. >_>; RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Kage - 03-21-2014 I -think- so. Some of the comments I read on reddit imply that even if you have a 50 PLD and a 20 BLM your retainer can't be higher than 20 (I assume BLM/THM is the retainer's class/job??) I take it to mean that you sort of train your retainer in that aspect. edit: a friend of mine is insisting that T2 Enrage method is getting borked but based on Yoshi-P's answers at the time I don't see it happening for 2.2, if at all. RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Kage - 03-21-2014 Totally why Quote:Q35: Will the music for the Gilgamesh battle in the Hildibrand line of quests be “Clash on the Big Bridge Brought the biggest grin to my fact. let alone the fact we heard it in the trailer. RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Erik Mynhier - 03-22-2014 Don't forget the two new Tank mounts. Bear for Warriors and Lion for Paladins ![]() RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - allgivenover - 03-24-2014 (03-21-2014, 11:34 AM)ExKage Wrote: edit: a friend of mine is insisting that T2 Enrage method is getting borked but based on Yoshi-P's answers at the time I don't see it happening for 2.2, if at all. They "mistakenly" nerfed the enrage method once already, then undid it. Even then it was only slightly harder to perform than before. He insisted that it just the mistake of putting in something from 2.2 into 2.16 (Twintania) but then later said, "well they undid it saying it wasn't intended but they never said that they wouldn't change it."(03-21-2014, 11:34 AM)ExKage Wrote: edit: a friend of mine is insisting that T2 Enrage method is getting borked but based on Yoshi-P's answers at the time I don't see it happening for 2.2, if at all. I don't see the argument for it though. SE has already shown that they want to make this older content so it's not a wall in players' progress. Allowing the enrage method keeps with that. In regards to whether or not it was "only slightly" harder, no one posted at the time what ilvl their healers were as well as their dps. At least, none of the posts I read included them. But yes. TANK MOUNTS ![]() RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - allgivenover - 03-24-2014 It wasn't that much harder, but you'd probably need an i85ish WHM to do it. It just required stacking more closely and smart usage of Cure III. RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Kage - 03-25-2014 If anyone wondered, the 900 Philo needed for the Relic is going to be X amount of Myth. Quote:Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil can be purchased from Auriana in Revenant’s Toll with Allagan tomestones of mythology. The equipment and items that can currently be purchased with mythology can be purchased in the same way in patch 2.2.http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/153707-Interview-Zodiak-weapons-Philo-removal-3.0-and-more?p=1972332&viewfull=1#post1972332 ALSO. It'll make screenshots even more dynamic than they already are! This game just blows my mind, so much genius everywhere. I'm very excited about tomorrow. I want to do everything at the same time (>_<) RE: Patch 2.2 Notes (Preliminary) (03/21/2014) - Blue - 03-26-2014 Oh my goodness, finally! Change Pose (/changepose) When using the Change Pose emote while standing, your character will cycle between the default idle stance and two additional poses.
