I just want to clarify that she means no more characters will be allowed to join the FC -unless- they join as members of the Polaali, Molkot or Jakkya families.
Those main three families are still open for recruitment, we simply have enough employees and adopted members.

Time for an update on this.
Firstly, we are still recruiting for the three families. Currently, we are most in need of members to join the Polaali and Jakkya families, but the Molkots could still use more members too.

Secondly, to any members recently kicked for inactivity, you are welcome back if you want. Miah simply enforces the inactivity policy; no inactivity for over a week unless you give notice. All you have to do is send me a tell, and you will be re-invited without question. However, I recommend only coming back if you are willing to commit to being online at least once a week.

oh gosh, i LOVE this idea! so much i can't even express it into words and i would absolutely love to join one of the families, maybe as a Poolali?
i have a keeper of the moon character the only problem is that she doesn't share any of the family sir names (her name is: Mira Luna) but i was looking to getting back into playing ffxiv and moving my character to balmung! she's currently on ragnarok
if by chance one of you already in the group (or a friend) would be willing to make a temporary character on balmung with the same name if i make a transfer of Mira to balmung it would make me have to rename her and i could give her a fitting sir name to join! if something like this is at all possible i'd absolutely love to as i wanted to join balmung to look for RP and i just love the idea of my character having a family! <3
please um... pm me or reply or something if there is a way to work things out and if the name changing stuff is too much of a hassle i'd still like to join if possible (maybe be sisterly adopted in?)

I will be most happy to help you out there. But, there are character creation restrictions up right now. So, you may need to wait till later for either me, kiht, or yourself be able to create a character that takes up that name slot on Balmung.

Yes, we could really use another Polaali (Be careful with that spelling, it is two 'a' not two 'o'). She is right about the restrictions right now, but I can promise to make the character to fill the slot tonight. I will post on this thread and PM you when I have made the character to fill the name slot of Mira Luna. After I have done so, transfer and change the surname, that is it.
Once on Balmung, player search for Kiht Jakkya or Miah Polaali. Let us know when you have transferred, and I will player search you as well.

wow awesome and thanks! yep as soon as the name spot is taken i'll re-activate my account and transfer my character over... my last question is it's been a while since i've read the keepers of the moon naming conventions
EDIT: should i just change her sir name to Polaali (hoping i spelled that right) making her Mira Polaali or should i add in silent H making her name like Mihra Polaali or Mirha or Mirah or Mhira? (I just read the naming conventions)
gah, that also means that my user name is a wrong adjustment accidentally using the seekers of the sun naming conventions
oh and will the character creation restrictions affect my ability to transfer Mira Luna to balmung? i don't want to submit the transfer application and not be able to get into balmung

For a female Keeper of the Moon: Mira, Mihra, Mirah, Mirha all work just fine. If you want to keep it Mira, that will fit fine.
So, Mira Polaali is just fine for a Keeper of the Moon female. (Sorry for the repeats I just want to make it clear.)
I do not think the restriction will prevent you from transferring. How it works is, the sever does not allow the creation of new characters during busy hours. However, I had no trouble transferring characters to Balmung the two times I did it.

Ok! Name slots for Mira Luna and M'ira Luna filled since I was a bit confused on which name your character has. You can transfer your character now. Please let me know when you do, so I can delete the two place-holder characters XD
