Pretty much this!  I'm not even sure about the rest of the patch because it concerns things I am not even sure about (sands of time... upgrade.... i100?) but I had fun today simply with the emotes!

Sands upgrade any Weathered soldiery piece of gear on the left side of your equipment screen, and oils do the right. This even includes weapons/shields!

Sorry, Clover must have told me this fifty times and I just keep spacing it. Thank you for explaining that to me. Might I ask how many of each does it take to upgrade and if there are any other requirements/catches?

Ahhh.... but of course you have a whole party rolling on it..! I completely forgot that aspect and was thinking: "So you just need five coil/ST runs?"

Yeah, when my roommate told me that ST spits out 2 sands per run, I first took that to meant raid loot, not party loot. Otherwise we're all on the fast track to being prepared for 2.4.

Damn, was so hoping to be 110 before all of this happened! Just couldn't bring myself to... you know... raid or anything. Or grind out seals for a sand to 110 the belt. Such a waste. BELTS SHOULD BE ACCESSORIES, DAMMIT. THEY'RE NOT DISPLAYABLE, THEY DON'T COUNT.

My sympathies. I've felt this particular pain one too many times in one too many MMOs with one too many of my peers. Shh. No tears, only dreams now.



Also, dem DRG and WAR poses for drawn weapons. Unf. Can someone please post the MNK one?
