I love that DRG gear. I wish we had more mail/plate gear with surcoats or tabards.

As Erik pointed out in another thread (that I can't find right now on my phone) a lot of the new gear, and especially the DRG set in question, looks very Tactics Ogre, which is unquestionably a good thing.

I do notice a few sets (like the WHM Miqo'te here) seem to have the same pattern of Au Ra's RSE in terms of clothing style. Fur, leather, tattered clothes, feathers (the pink dress has feathers decors, too). I wonder if this stuff is going to be introduced as Othard clothing.

That would be a dream.  I could see that being a motif they go with when they inevitably get around to samurai.

The three sets on the right, and the two sets at the bottom, look outstanding. I love anything knightly. I hope that black armor has a face-covering visor. If it does, I could go the rest of my time in this game wearing nothing but that black armor and the dragoon set with the "apron." Pretty excited.
