Personally, I miss Joao II of Portugal... he was the most foppish of the dandies. :< However, it looks like Wu Zetian of China shall soon win my heart... I always did love the Great General bonuses.
Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Asytra - 09-21-2010 Slowly building up my empire, for Mother Russia! Unfortunately no vodka as a luxury item.

The only part of it that can be called luxury is the missing of methanol. So keep your eyesight and there is your luxury. Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Tadir - 09-21-2010 How is vodka a luxury? Everyone knows it is a vital necessity. Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Satisiun - 09-21-2010 Emaraya Wrote:Well... vodka as such is definitely not a luxury item. My trebuchets are getting two upgrades right off the bat from my facility in Moscow. Washington will be sorry he sniped the spot that had iron, gold, and an oasis from me... Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - MydLyfeCrysis - 09-22-2010 Emaraya Wrote:Guess we all know where Ragnar has been lately... Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Asytra - 09-22-2010 My game kept crashing on a certain turn where Napolean and Washington both declared war on me... happened the second time too. Not sure what to do now.

Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Tadir - 09-22-2010 Yup, this kept me up til around 4 this morning. I meant to get to bed by 1... and so it begins. All I can say is thank god for FFXIV. Tadir Wrote:Yup, this kept me up til around 4 this morning. I meant to get to bed by 1... Hehe... Yes I feel the same way. It's amazing how fast time flies playing it. Just....one....more....turn! Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Dralid - 09-23-2010 Asytra Wrote:Just....one....more....turn! As much as I love the Civ games, this is why I'll be staying away from the game for a while. "Well, once I get this tech, i'll save and quit" /Get the tech "Awww.. but I want to see the unit it unlocked" /Built the unit "Oh dang! George Washington just declared war! Curse him" /Mobilize the army. "Must.... defend... city...from.. upcoming ...doom" /Play till the city is safe /look out the window "Huh!? The sun is rising! What happened to the night?" Yeah, and it all started with.. one more turn! Now add FFXIV in the mix. Instant-win for a PH.D in Ermit life-style Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Tadir - 09-23-2010 That was remarkably accurate. Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Smiling River - 09-25-2010 I'll be looking into getting this. Re: Sid Meier's Civilization V - Freyar - 09-25-2010 Just bought my own copy. Played a four-hour long multiplayer game against my boss and some of my customers. Four hours long because we had to wait for people to remember that they had to hit end-turn. Ugh. |
