Re: Location and timezones - Midaja - 07-19-2010 Oke, lets count the European... Renaise, Hiname, Kashemia, Mamina, Laylei and me... Just taking notes of whom Ill have to add to my friendlist first ![]() Im a bit torn apart at choosing a linkshell to apply... Cause of the big time difference ![]() Re: Location and timezones - Kashemia - 07-19-2010 Midaja Wrote:Oke, lets count the European... Renaise, Hiname, Kashemia, Mamina, Laylei and me... Just taking notes of whom Ill have to add to my friendlist first Iroh should be in Europe too sometime during the fall. We're working on it, but the danish immigration laws sucks so badly. Re: Location and timezones - Midaja - 07-25-2010 bump ![]() Re: Location and timezones - Kashemia - 07-25-2010 It is a good idea to add people in the timezone to your friendlist, especially with this few people from Europe. Chances are, that a lot of events will happen in the middle of the night for us, so if we can arrange stuff in timezones that fit us more from time to time, it would be great ![]() Of course including all Americans who are on at the same time! It's not to exclude anyone. just because I know how much it can suck to be the only one from a completely different timezone, I missed so many events in Aion ![]() Re: Location and timezones - Smiling River - 07-25-2010 Some of us in the US feel your pain. There have been times where I played on the EU or JP peak times for 2+ weeks due to my biological clock being so damn random. Needless to say, you might see me up at your peak times quite often when FFXIV comes out. Re: Location and timezones - Magnus - 08-24-2010 With more people in the coalition, I thought I'd revive this thread to get another look at where everyone is. Also noticing I haven't said I'm in the US in central time so that's GMT-6 However, due to my scheduled I normally play in the AM hours (while the kid is at school). Re: Location and timezones - Noelle - 08-24-2010 Oh! Well I'm Europe! GMT+0! > ![]() Good to see there's a couple of other EU players. Re: Location and timezones - Renaise - 08-24-2010 Noëlle Wrote:Oh! Whoo another European... *makes note* Its bloody windy in London today >.> not that anyone cares, just an observation ![]() Re: Location and timezones - Mycroft - 08-24-2010 Bloody windy ya say? Well at you're not the only ones feeling the wind.. Here in my little hole there's currently a torrent. Not that I'm complaining.. I like wind and rain, because the wind is every true gentleman's friend. Re: Location and timezones - Kashemia - 08-24-2010 Yeah, it's been crazily windy here today as well. I had hopen I could avoid getting soaked when I had to go to work, but I had to give up on the umbrella after 2 min <.< And yeah, there's not many EU players so far, but we're awesome! Or.. Something... Re: Location and timezones - Mycroft - 08-24-2010 Hey Europe is the reason that the US of A exists today.. Therefore we can rightfully claim the title of "Awesome". Re: Location and timezones - Kejira - 08-24-2010 heh well I'm in Europe too GMT+2 for me ohhh allot of people from Europe it seem, that really nice heh Malrend Wrote:Hey Europe is the reason that the US of A exists today.. Therefore we can rightfully claim the title of "Awesome". How does one Acquire this title, wouldn't mind having it, as then i could add it to my title as "Sous Chef" then i could be a "Awesome Sous Chef" *giggles* ^-^ Re: Location and timezones - Magnus - 08-24-2010 Malrend Wrote:Hey Europe is the reason that the US of A exists today.. Therefore we can rightfully claim the title of "Awesome". This is the most twisted sense of logic I've heard in a while. It's true. But twisted. Re: Location and timezones - Sylian - 08-24-2010 Go, Europe! :cheer: We should all definitely stay in touch, even if we end up in different guilds. My biggest concern with EQ2, for example, and I've said this a 100 times over, was the lack of Euro players. But I'm more and more optimistic about the Euro population in FFXIV ![]() Oh yes, I'm European too, obviously ![]() Re: Location and timezones - Satisiun - 08-24-2010 Apparently the vast majority of my American brethren are nothing but babies who don't post on these boards, if the NA:EU ratio of posts is any indication. ![]() -5 GMT (Eastern), by the way. |
