Reason for Card choice: Juno is the sword standing against the darkness. He fights for others to have hope, regardless of the risks to himself. On a similar note, he is also the cornerman. Any who need perking up can depend on him to stand and haul them onward.

Card:Moon.
Reason for Card choice: Triss has, up until a year ago, had a very, -very- unhappy life, from being beaten as a child, to being pressed into selling her body to survive, to losing the only person to ever show her sympathy. She, despite the face she puts on to the world, is a very damaged woman. Constantly afraid of being pulled back into that despair, Triss forces forces herself to go into the world with a smile, even if it is a massive lie, hoping that if she can fool others, she can fool herself. Her time since meeting Juno has, to a certain extent, helped distract her from her past, letting her forget, for a time, the struggling she had to endure to become the woman she is.

The Sun:  Howl is an optimistic person who has a deep faith that things will turn out.  He has a mystical side that believes strongly in predestination and omens, but he always looks for the good side in these and doesn't take even bad predictions to heart.  He has an innocent side to him as well in that he looks for the good in everyone and believes that everyone can be saved, everyone deserves a second chance.  He is often described as a warm, thoughtful person who suits the traits given with the Sun.

And of course, he's a Seeker, a suncat!

Reason for Card Choice?:

Justice: Mainly because Inessa is an investigator, but her job is to find and attempt to find others who have committed wrongs and bring them to Justice, regardless of what the crime is or for what reason.

Strength: One who does not have the strength to support themselves is as good as dead. Using her own power, Inessa became her own unyielding and unrelenting force of indomitable strength. Even in Death, she will refuse to yield from her duty's.

Judgment: One who must circumvent the dangerous playground of politic's must have keen judgment. They must know who is friend and foe, who to pursue and who to pass by and ultimantely, they must not let themselves be swayed by the influence of others, or they will be lost.

Reason for Card choice (recommended): Tiergan is an escaped gladiator-slave, but instead of fully embracing his freedom and living his life - he remains shackled to his hate, anger, and desire for vengeance. He could walk away from it at any time and live a much happier life, but he feels bound by the negativity that urges him to keep walking the same path. Though it deeply shames him to realise it, a small part of him still pines for his slave days and a time when he could engage in all the cruel luxuries, carnal pleasures, and wild addictions he liked.

  • Reason for Card choice (recommended): Justice would most likely be the most appropriate choice for Devereau. He has a very strong personal moral compass, and very true to what he sees as good and true to people, even if his methods may be a bit unconventional or against what is enforced through heavy structure. Regardless, he is extremely passionate on matters of truth and morality. As for the Moon, his past is influencing much of his life through fear and uncertainty, making it a bit of a possibility.

  • Reason for Card choice (recommended): All cards symbolize making a decision, letting go of things and being at the crossroads, and change in general. Shakka is at that kind of crossroads in his life, where he needs to decide whether to take a risk and let go of his past experiences in order to move forward, or to stay as he is and focus on his goal only, which is to make his family happy. Pursuing his own happiness would mean losing some of the control and giving it to someone else. To stay put or to change, and risk getting hurt again, he has hard time figuring out which path to take.

Jancis growing up being mostly self taught and with no material wealth cherishes most everything she comes into contact with and has empathy towards it. Every pain, action, emotion, good or bad comes because of a reason/provocation/purpose. The overall intention is her main concern.
Living most of her life in the wild outside of villages and society has also taught her how unfair life can be, and that there is a balance to give and take, what animals do and react to, and what is actually needed for survival versus living. She bides her time and she gets by with very little. Most situations, while feeling and understanding of it, do not evoke her emotions easily and she stands by observing and letting people act out.

    Temperance is "Balance, moderation, patience, purpose, meaning" - Queen is a very balanced character, who prides herself on her ability to be calm and patient with people of all kinds.
    The Magician is "    Power, skill, concentration, action, resourcefulness" - Queen is the last Witch Queen of her people, and has continued her education in thaumaturgy.
    Justice is "    Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, law" - one of Queen's highest goals is to help bring an understanding and hopefully peace and justice to the Beast Tribes of Eorzea, whom she relates to as an outsider herself.
