Probably an engineer or bookworm of some sort actually. Possibly even a librarian, if he couldnt pursue the fields he was interested in.
If not those, then probably just a militant sort that is good at mindlessly following orders.

Jade would be a carpenter because carpentry is his hobby in game and there's no sauve master thieves in this day and age. He'd be an eccentric scrawny lumberjack who lives in Portland and I have been thinking about this way too much.
Sechen would be a bodyguard because she's obsessed with protecting people and is basically a tiny canon waiting to go off.
Nekhii would be a nurse because he's a caretaker by nature and he's extremely nurturing.

Juvenile delinquent, then later after reforming, some menial job like garbage collector or janitor. If exceptionally lucky, PE teacher or housewife. If exceptionally unlucky, hired thug/debt collector.
