My Ishgardian character (wiki is a huge work in progress still, he is an alt after all), he's just 18 years old; the second son of a middle-high class family that used to be rather influent among the merchants of Ishgard prior the Calamity. The disappearance of his older brother (who first disrespected their father's wish by becoming an adventurer and leaving home, and then disappeared forever during Cartenau without leaving a trace) has burdened Vincent with the difficult task of becoming the head of the family as their father passed away. The Calamity forced Vincent to abandon his studies to become a dignitary and since then he has been studying as a conjurer to aid the refugees of Coerthas and Gridania.

Wasn't sure weather to post this here of the role-playing and ishgardian thread, but I'm work on creating a Miqote dragoon. I'm going for a drunken retired wanderer style. I want him to have somewhat heavy ties to ishgard being a dragoon and all but I do not want him to actually be from ishgard because well, he's a miqote. I'm just having some trouble getting him more of a back story and was looking for ideas. Thanks and sorry if I have a bunch of typos, I'm doing this on my phone.
