The amusing thing is that a short roegadyn female is still a wee bit shorter than hyur highlander males. Pretty sure a tall midlander is about head to head with a short roe woman. Many elezen males are also taller.

So we don't have to be GIANTS. Unless you're a lalafell or miqo'te. Then I crush you.

Here is my Roe Female Size Queen. I'll be on Balmug and will RP if I can find a group. She is max height and is a bruiser that lives up to her name.

My wife wanted to log in and make a character during phase 3, and just before I logged off for the last time on Sunday, she made me take a bunch of pictures of her character. When I asked her what she was going to make, she said "I don't know, something gorgeous." Of course, being the Kain Highwind fangirl she is, I automatically knew she'd make a Lancer. This is Qimaphela Domina.

They do look frumpy in those low-level robes, but, then again, who doesn't? Even the poor Miqo'te fems are made to almost look like they have bigger versions of Lala bodies. 

Roes are cool. Pick a character that you like and worry about the gear later. :)

The eyes are giving kind of an ice princess vibe. Like she has a cold, black heart to match her hair. (Or I'm just reading that into her, because I just posted on the villains thread that there need to be more Roegadyn villain pics.)

From months ago I knew I was going to make my main a Roegadyn female (as you can see from my avatar picture).

I'm a big fan of Norse lore (being a heathen myself) and they really appealed to me, being based of Frost and Fire giants. They also represented (like the Highlanders do) a really 'western' representation to the world of Eorzea, which I think results in a more interesting mix of races.

So it doesn't matter that they are under represented by the vast majority of players because this is an RP community which results in much more interesting characters regardless. Also, it makes your character far more likely to stand out.

I also prefer to play male characters.. But Male Roegadyn? Too big for me. I don't like giant characters. I always lean towards the more human-esque or elven races. In WoW I couldn't bring myself to RP on Draenei/Orc/Tauren, but I did on both of the elven races, humans and forsaken.

Well after having a hard time deciding I ended up on Roe female, their eyes are amazing, and I love their lore. My main reservations for them was that the really tall races tend to look pretty bad in robes or as casters in general, and she'll be a summoner.

Aside from the issue with them being tall, I think a lot of players want their characters to appear "young", think teens to early twenties, and Roes look more mature. Their mannerisms as well are less "girly" than Miqo'te, who are pretty much going all out on cute in the animations. While the Roe characters aren't going for the girly and cute animations, which probably would look terrible on a character of that size anyway, I find them to look quite elegant.

I personally like the level 1 gear. The pants scream all sorts of sexy. Though the arm pieces are a little weird. The entire outfit works together though because of the puffy arm pieces kind of accentuate the biceps /flex.

This is what my Roe female main looks like. After several people told me she looks sort of ugly, I'm thinking of re-rolling her, though.
