RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Melkire - 05-19-2014 Want to thank everyone who showed up for pugilist courses, both this week and last. You guys and gals have made this a fun and unique experience. ![]() ...apologies for Osric being such a blunt a-hole IC, it's just the way he gets with students! >_> I'll be throwing up a doodle sometime tonight or tomorrow for next weekend, see if we can't find a time that works for everyone, both those who've already attended and those who'd like to but can't due to scheduling. Remember: Cheat to Win, Run to Survive. ![]() RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Clover - 05-19-2014 Thank you very much for the botany class! I took screenshots of all the information. It was very interesting ^^ Sadly, I know nothing about botany irl (even less in English *laughs*), so my character couldn't contribute much. RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Nesi - 05-19-2014 I had fun, and will try and sign up to the PGL class at least for next time. I'm not sure Nesi would come back to the Botany or First aid ones, I feel like she knows more than the basics those lessons are teaching. Still want to try and catch a cnj class though, and I'm curious about any future crafting lessons. As that's a big part of Nesi's character. She might even teach some someday if I feel the urge. RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - NoiseTank - 05-20-2014 Oh wow, this is exactly what I've been seeking! My character's only recently begun to look into teaching-- are sign-ups still open? He's a WHM, though he could simply just teach Conjury! Let me know how I could get involved, please! Oh my gosh I didn't expect this to all happen so suddenly this is awesome. Okay, okay, um..I just need a few days to figure things out. <3 Gotta figure out where he should begin teaching, and WHERE he should be teaching (sure, the conjurer's guild, but field trips are a must! ![]() RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - McBeefâ„¢ - 05-20-2014 Nat could teach fighting with the sword and shield. It wouldn't be "gladiator" training specifically, but more Paladin training. Or rather the precursor to Paladin training, sort of the first step on the path to becoming a free Paladin. Is it ok if I did that sort of training instead of Gladiator? You guys and gals have made this a fun and unique experience.ÂBAH! I -knew- I was missing a class... sorry about that. Time zone changes and going in and out of the deserts in the Southwest have both messed up with my perception of time and availability to do much. Quote:Thank you very much for the botany class! I took screenshots of all the information. It was very interesting ^^S'all good ^^ It's a class for a reason, y'know? Quote: I'm not sure Nesi would come back to the Botany or First aid ones, I feel like she knows more than the basics those lessons are teaching.First Botany class was designed to give basics on how to not get hurt out in the field (I wasn't able to fit in 'how to test for edibility' since I ran out of time), as the gardener doesn't have a lot of patience with people and would get quickly annoyed when/if people started coming down with contact rashes and cases of poison ivy. Next class should be far more interesting. ----- I'd like to thank everyone who did make it to the Botany class. That day had a loooot of panicking from me (from first realizing I was in the middle of the desert of Arizona and not likely to have a signal to having no-one show up to suddenly having a crowd!). Hopefully the next one will go just as well! Speaking of which... http://doodle.com/dzhqepn8wmn9d44y Same poll as last time, just edited to include further-out dates. Please check it and make any adjustments; as of right now it's looking like we'll be doing 2pm EST on Sunday the 25th. I think it would be fair of the Sultansworn to offer this kind of trainings, sort of "advanced" classes for practiced gladiators, hmm? RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - plutosams - 05-20-2014 I really enjoyed the Botany class and am looking forward to the next one.  Khior'a's personality is still coming together, but it was nice to be able to practice a bit. Also, it would awesome to have another conjury class! RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Melkire - 05-21-2014 Availability this weekend for pugilist discourses: http://doodle.com/322r5kw9ukzp2y6d RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Knight Kat - 05-21-2014 Lancer class update. Next class will be held on Saturday at 6pm PST. Only two signed up, so I had to go by their availability. However, since it is on a Saturday, maybe more people will show up. ![]() Again, all are welcome. Even if your character is only considering being a Lancer. The class is for all skill levels as well. Anything below a Master of the Lance can learn something. RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Rosekitten - 05-21-2014 I'll try to go to the class this time Kat ![]() RE: Classroom-type Roleplaying (Now open for Instructors/Apprentices Sign ups!) - Kellach Woods - 05-21-2014 I'm kind of surprised there's no Marauder classes. |
