Final Fantasy XIV: 2.0 - Kylin - 10-14-2011 The biggest announcement yet for Final Fantasy XIV's future has come. Take a look! The only downside to the announcement is the implementation of monthly fees by early December. But once you see what's to come within the next year, it'll be difficult to not want to take part in this prequel to a whole new game! New graphic engine, zone redos, UI overhaul, and so much more! Looks like I may be deleting my old cast of characters and well, starting over again from the beginning. Not sure how many others will be doing this with all the new announcement, but... May as well with this big of changes! XD Re: Final Fantasy XIV: 2.0 - Merri - 10-14-2011 Jaw hit the floor when I first saw this. Can't wait. Being able to experience Eorzea changing before my very eyes. I think the next year is going to be a very interesting time for roleplay, at least for those who are still going to stick around. I'm loving that I'll be able to develop my character throughout the changes and have a character who had experienced the pre-umbral era world first-hand.
