A eu players enquiry - Mono monoko - 04-24-2015 Hi! Not sure if I'm posting in the right place or not, but was hoping to ask a quick question As an eu player looking for more rp in their life, would it be worth transferring my char to balmung? If I'm playing through the day, is thee still plenty of rp to be found? Thanks for any help! RE: A eu players enquiry - Warren Castille - 04-24-2015 Balmung's got a pretty thriving EU community, if my dastardly NA ears haven't lied to me. There's a number of active linkshells and FCs, and we've been seeing more EU-friendly event times cropping up. RE: A eu players enquiry - Nebbs - 04-24-2015 Short answer yes. Longer answer, there is a healthy and active RP community on Balmung. Clearly given the NA weight it gets very busy/active later in the EU evening and through the EU night. I would say the EST timezone is the most subscribed to. However, good news, the EU community is active, there are FCs and LS that focus on EU and there is even a surge in EU or EU-friendly events. Aside from that it is a full server so there are generally people on 24/7. Also check out the [EU Directory] RE: A eu players enquiry - SicketySix - 04-24-2015 Yes it certainly is, you can literally find RP at any hour. RE: A eu players enquiry - SunTzu7 - 04-24-2015 You might need to stay up a bit late for some things (Grindstone kicks off about 2-3AM GMT for example) but I never have trouble with RP when I want it. RE: A eu players enquiry - Maril - 04-24-2015 We regularily have events in EU times these days, both thanks to the number of EU'ers that are on the server but also thanks to some NA people placing events earlier so as to open it up to some of us ![]() RE: A eu players enquiry - Kilid/Torhe - 04-24-2015 (04-24-2015, 08:21 AM)SunTzu7 Wrote: You might need to stay up a bit late for some things (Grindstone kicks off about 2-3AM GMT for example) but I never have trouble with RP when I want it.The EU equivalent of the Grindstone begins tomorrow (See: here) so even that's taken care of, now! There's no lack of EU-based RP for those who are willing to actively seek it, I'm pleased to say ![]() RE: A eu players enquiry - Mono monoko - 04-25-2015 Thanks so much for the replys, looks like balmung a the place for me then! See ya there. RE: A eu players enquiry - Rosamund - 04-25-2015 Plenty of us here! There's also the advantage that because it's not just NA or just EU players here, you can find RP at almost any hour of the day and night. Best of both worlds. ![]() |
