Greetings to one and all! The Netlink of Eorzean Taverns is proud to present the "Lalafell Tea Party", a social gathering event for EVERYONE OF ALL RACE hosted by Lalafell communities of Clan Moguri, Chibishell and Super Lalashell. As the frontier outpost of Revenant's Toll becoming more prosperous by being frequented with more adventurers and it's new inhabitants the Domans who have taken refuge there, Rowena has granted us the use of her own humble abode for this festive event (opened to both RPers and non-RPers). Event Details
Location: 2nd Floor Cafe Terrace of Rowena's House of Splendors
Date & Time: May 22nd @ 12pm Pacific Time to May 23rd @ 12am Pacific Time || 9am-3am Eastern Time
Dress: Casual to Formal
This event is planned to contain activities for both RPers and non-RPers. The RP portion of the event shall start at the 2nd Floor Cafe Terrace of Rowena's House of Splendors. To accommodate our potential patrons, the RP area of the event shall spread out along the Northern side of the wall leading toward the zone entrance area from the Central Coerthas Highlands should the size of participants grow to numerous. Our staff of chefs that are catering this event shall be preparing an array of delicious, delectable delicacies to be served at the event that are sure to please the pallet, touch the heart and warm the soul a.k.a. dim sum. The dining experience of the RP will be similar to a maid cafe and hibachi style service lead & organized by our volunteering head and sous chefs. Although this is a RP event, tipping the chefs, hosts and servers who have assisted you is encourage. Each chef will be offering selections from their own personal menus! Please check in the thread below to see what is being offered, thanks! ***NOTE*** - Any star-level item acquisition, inquiry or transactions made by a patron will involve actual gil exchange. Prices for the food items will be set at the current market price. Thank you for your business!
***Seeking additional head and sous chefs for the Lalafell Tea Party.Head chefs will be expected to be present for at least 3 hours or more of roleplaying and is responsible for dazzling our patrons with their superb cooking skills. They will be required to prepare/stock their own inventories should they wish to put on a show of their craft and exchange real items.The head chefs shall be appointed as managers for the RP portion of this event. An amount of 20,000 gil will be given to the head chefs, 10,000 gil will be given to the the sous chefs and 5,000 gil to all other staff as payment for their services. For those who don't have a Culinarian skill, but would still like to participate, we are seeking anyone who's interested in being a host or server. Responsibilities involved will be to welcome our potential guests and if need be serving them beyond the extension of the terrace.

The non-RP portion of the event shall involve a series of activities to please our non-RP'ing guests. Rewards and prizes shall be given away at these activities that are designed to be what we hope will be creative and fun. The activities and the times in which they will occur are as follows in sequential order...

L-T-P Cosplay Contest- This event will involved participants showing their creativity and ingenuity in creating a cosplay costume with any and all gear that can be found through out Eorzea. Chance to win a cash shop minion!
- Registration/Entry Time: 1-1:15pm Pacific || 2-2:15pm Mountain || 3-3:15pm Central || 4-4:15pm Eastern || 9pm GMT 0
- Event participants will be judged and rewarded by Kooky Delight.
- Winner will receive a cash shop minion code of their choice!
Lalafell Hide & Seek (NOT A HUNT!) - Eight Lalafells will be scattered throughout the map of Mor Dhona who will be wearing a hat of their choosing to which participants will obtain a corresponding ingot from each of them. Participant can each receive a Copper Ingot from Raltz Waltz at the Seventh Heaven Tarverns. The first person to obtain and return back to Raltz Waltz with *ALL 8 Ingots* will win a Mandragora Queen Minion! Furthermore, each ingot obtained from this event will be worth 50k each and can be used to redeem an item that is valued up to the total amount of ingots acquired from Ren Kuroba. (Participants can also ask Blazerro Draken, however, his selections are limited...). The Copper Ingot MUST be expended in order to obtain the desired item.
***TO ALL PARTICIPANTS: Please make sure you do not have any of the following ingots present in your inventory or the signature of the ingot you obtain will be nulled/voided and cannot be accepted.

Rhyme 'N Thyme - Galdous and his primp and polish troupe will be hosting a free-for-all rhyme battle at the Lalafell Tea Party to see if anyone can dethrone his "highness" off his pedestal. Try your attempt to kick Galdous off his high-horse and make him /grovel to the ground. Good luck to everyone!
Do you think you have what it takes to out wit, out word and out rhyme a self-proclaimed prodigious wordsmith? Can you on a luscious and lavishing display of linguistics? Come join us at the Lalafell Tea Party and try to contest yourself against the poetic mastermind of Galdous Tansarville! Test your "hand" at besting against this acclaimed "Rhyme King" in a using the power of words and the skills of wisdom. Parlay yourself this Hyur who claims to have a masterful tongue powerful enough to entice the whims men and seduce the wills of ladies.

- Event Details - Participants will be given a topic by the judges to rip, rap or rhyme about. Each participant shall have exactly ONE MINUTE to type out a rhyme in response to Galdous. There will be a small 10 second window after the one minute time limit given for final revisions, after that the participant must hit enter or be disqualified. This same rule will also apply to Galdous. Please make sure to have a /yell activated in your selected chat tab to view further instructions for this activity.
- Participants will recieve 100,000 gil if they can defeat Galdous!
Dance Dance Mor Dhona - Late night (for some players) dance party at Mor Dhona! With the soon to coming end of 2.0-2.57 storyline and the future Heavensward expansion, we may see the end to Mor Dhona be the main central hub to seek out parties for dungeons, raids, Primals, Coil of Bahamut and other instances. Let's all celebrate the coming of an end and the beginning of a new with a server wide dance party! All are welcome to attend. Participants are welcome to bring fireworks, use their abilities and cast spells to create visuals and make a light show.

We encourage our RP'ing and non-RP'ing to attend both series of events should they feel willing as there is no limitations or restrictions in participation. It is however excepted that both types of players respect each other to avoid any potential bloodshed or emotional taxes. We ask our RP'ing patrons to please filter out the [/shout] chat in a separate chat tab to avert any potential [/shout] chat trolling so as to not restrict the chat usage of non-RPers. We also ask our non-RP'ing guests would please respect our RP'ing patrons and not troll them. Head Chef Ventisca’s Menu
The morning meal will consist of buttered La Noscean Toast, selections of organically grown Orange and Apple Juice, and freshly baked Honey Muffins.
Hor d'oeuvres shall be served through the day of half-sliced Rolanberries mixed with Rolanberry [Cream] Cheese and topped with crumble Acorn Cookies parfait. A lovely pairing of flavor as the sweet nutty crunchiness of the crumbled biscuit compliments the tartness of the soft, creamy berry flavor of the cheese.
A midday tea time will hearken to the region of Ul'dah featuring the famous Quicksand Crumpets and a specially blended brew of Mulled Tea; two desert city favorites.
And finally to complete our journey, the evening dinner shall be a grand display of culinary perfection that features a fine and delicately sauteed [Pixar movie inspired] Ratatouille paired with a creamy Cheese Risotto paying homage to the Botantist and Culinarian Guilds. And also to Nophica, the Matron; the tender of soils and harvests and goddess of abundance.
