A bizarre request (Looking For Free Company) - rept7 - 06-21-2015
Before you start posting "Check the LS and FC section of the forums", I would like to tell you that it is exactly my problem. Â I don't like joining a Free Company just by being told things, I transferred to Balmung for this exact reason. Â While I do like houses and stuff, I care for adventure more. Â The culture of FF14 seems to state that I NEED to be an FC to enjoy content and overall avoid arses, and I do want to join a Free Company. Â I just can't get myself to join a Free Company unless I have an adventure or few with some people in the FC. Â Unfortunately that doesn't really happen organically so here I am.
If you run or are a part of a Free Company, feel free to respond to this forum or send me a PM detailing your name and when you adventure. Â I do roleplay, but I'm no novelist, just a silly adventure hungry Mi'qote. Â I would like to accompany you and your group for whatever adventures we may find.

.. check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you.
Okay, so .. do check out the events, many are run and frequented by FCs. I think most FCs will expect you to make some effort to engage, and many do run events in part for that reason.
Also, do try the LSs as they will have people calling out for RP and stuff, and this can be a good way to get pulled into an FC. At least if you RP with someone around their FC house.
For an FC to catch you, you have to throw yourself. Good luck.

I unfortunately don't do well in large groups of strangers. Â Right now, I just need a small group and then I can start interacting with bigger groups once I know I have a party of people already cemented as my buddies. Â That small group would get a rather loyal healer/tank, at least once the servers calm down and I can play on Balmung more reliably.
