If YOU were in a movie... - 13uddy - 08-05-2015 If you were in a movie as yourself (although it can be an exaggerated or fictionalized version, so feel free to put yourself in a spaceship or be an elf or something), what would be your perfect movie scene? Â Would you be the hero of an action film? Â Would you be the love interest in a romantic comedy? Â Would you be the comic relief in a coming-of-age teen comedy? For some reason, I always believed I would be the comic relief of a buddy comedy or road trip movie. Â My love of superheroes would be taken a bit to the extreme to the point of delusion. The ideal scene would be a confrontational scene, where some group wants to hurt my friends and I'll hold up something (a necklace, a toy, just something) and suddenly there would be a whole Power Rangers/Super Sentai/Kamen Rider henshin sequence. Â Lots of flashy effects and a colorful costume/armor forms around me while some techno theme plays in the background... ... Â and then the scene shifts to everyone just staring at a normal me standing there looking like an idiot as I'm imagining the whole transformation. Â I'm not THAT delusional in real life (at least, I hope I'm not!), but it sounds absurd enough to be something I could do. RE: If YOU were in a movie... - Kiur - 08-05-2015 I'd be the one pointing out the insanity in any given situation. RE: If YOU were in a movie... - Corelyn - 08-05-2015 I would most definitely be the hacker/programmer/computer-savvy sidekick, hidden off somewhere safe in order to help the protagonist do what he or she otherwise would be unable. The Non-Action Guy for sure, likely working Mission Control; the Otacon to a Solid Snake, or a Joker to the Normandy, of sorts. |
