Hnnnngh! Liadan! These colors look awesome! And they're only six bucks!? Yes, please. They seem to have a lot of good reviews, too. I'm currently sitting here deciding on which colors I want to splurge on. Definitely buying myself at least two or three.

I haven't tried their more recent formula, but their mattes are really good I thought. I didn't like their liquid mattes, but I also bought them in really dark colors and that might have been the issue for me (I generally don't wear dark colors).

These are the ones I'm going for:

https://colourpop.com/product/dopey/
https://colourpop.com/product/frick-n-frack/

Probably my favorite one of theirs so far is: https://colourpop.com/product/lumiere/

These are honestly some of the best names for lipstick i've ever seen.
I have a few things I want to talk about, but don't have time to go searching for links n' such.

EDIT:

I'm someone who will buy what's cheap and works. This is mainly because I don't like the idea of spending $30 on eyeliner. However, I will do so when it's something I MUST have. Now going back to what I actually use/will be using.

With the recent costume i've been constructing, I thought it was a great excuse to actually wear eyeshadow. So, I bought The Nudes Palette from Maybelline for about $13. Can't wait to try it out.

The current mascara i'm using is Voluminous Butterfly Mascara. It's easy to use, and I don't have to worry about clumps.

My Kat Von D that I gotten as a gift has sadly dried out and right now i'm using Colour Riche Eyeliner.

I don't use lipstick often, but after seeing all of these links, I just might buy some.

Uggghhhh, I've wanted Lumière for ages. I'm going to have to break down and buy it sometime. ; w ;

You should get it. I'm seriously thinking about picking up her collab eyeshadow, Weenie. It's such a pretty rose color.

So here are the colors I'm looking at right now:

https://colourpop.com/product/creeper/
https://colourpop.com/product/more-better/
https://colourpop.com/product/clueless/

And then I looked at 'Dopey', which you linked earlier. That one is a really pretty shade, too. These two interest me: https://colourpop.com/product/rooch/ and https://colourpop.com/product/lax/ , but I'm afraid they'd be a little too dark.

I think I might next time I have some extra cash.
Weenie is a really cute color, tho I'm leaning more towards Porter cause its purple. Maybe I'll just get Where The Night Is, it has a nice green with it. I'm not super fond of yellows, but I'm sure I'd be able find a way to use it to my liking(or throw it at a friend).

But first things first! Lumière! D<

In other news, I got the PB&J palette from Too Faced. It smells AMAZING, I want to gobble it all up. ; w ; It applies really well too.

I thought that the Confidence in a Cream was $38.

Nope. It's $48.

I just dropped $74 on that and Benefit's Erase Paste. Blush

So since I basically ONLY talk in this thread - and I automatically consider everyone who has participated in the makeup thread is a kind soul (kind and pretty) and a friend, I am going to blast it here..

Come and comment on Suka and Eva's wedding look! I actually want to do a special hairstyle of the day - and change the face paint, etc. I'll post them here before the wedding date

And like Eva said, this is not a IC event so it's a little bit off the topic here - but friends and rpers both IC and OOC are welcome, as well as future friends.

You can ping Sukaaretto Ueno or Evangeline Primrose in game for an invite!

I have only just come across this so answer OP's questions...

My current winter look is very dark plum colour created by layer not one...but TWO lip colours. The bonus us that they are very light and don't feel ike you're wearing a tonne of makeup. The first is a lovely dark pink called Sugar Plum by No7 (I don't know if it's available in the US but any dark pink lipstick will do), then on top of that is Calvin Klein Berry Cool lip gloss (£2.99 from TJ Hughes!). This gives you a nice subtle shine and darkens the pink to juust the right amount for me. If I want a darker colour I will layer some Estee Lauder Hot Kiss lipstick under the gloss. This is all done with a lip brush and the product is used sparingly.

As for other products...I tend to bounce around a bit depending on what I can afford at the time.
Primer: Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Primer in Green
Foundation: MAC studio fix in NC15
Powder: COVER FX Matte Setting Powder in Fair
Eyeliner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner + Lancome pencil liner both in Black

My lovely Kaguya sporting her everyday look. Dark shadow and black eyeliner paired with and dark red lipstick.

I really love the foundation in the lumi cushion, but I have the same problem. The cushion makes it impossible to actually get much product on your brush, so you need to constantly go back and re-apply. It's SO tedious. The other downfall (And this is me, personally) is that it doesn't have any spf in it. But I might just be a little spoiled on Smashbox Liquid Halo... >.>

lol i actually do like the little applicator it came with - i thought it would be tedious but it works quite well at covering pores and giving an even application.

How is Smashbox Liquid Halo? I've heard good things!

Sorry, I only missed this post by a million years >.> Liquid Halo is a REALLY nice, light coverage foundation (And again, it has the spf, which is amazing.) It sheers out really nicely for a good, natural look without looking cake-y or patchy.
