Day of Wine & Love! (but mostly wine) Feb. 14th! - ExAtomos - 01-30-2017 Pop up RP falls ON VALENTINE’S DAY this month (aka Singles Awareness Day), so we are planning something SPECIAL!! What: Casual, drop in RP, now with JOUSTING!!! You heard right! Get on yer Chocobro, armor up, grab a lance, and stampede full force at another person! Winners survive! Survivors win! You know you wanna! (Please note: We will be using padded polearms for this. Death is bad for business, after all.)(But still, wear armor… you’re gonna feel it in the morning.) We are also having Contests of Pompous Purple Prose of Passion & Put-Downs! Bring your wit, imagination, and BEST OUTSIDE VOICE and proclaim your best (and by best we mean ridiculous) declarations of LOVE and your most flowery, humorous INSULTS that you could sling at your imaginary competition! Also, WINE BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE!! <Please look forward to it> When: Feb. 14th, 7-10 pm EST Where: Wineport (see what we did there ) EVERYONE WELCOME!! Not liable for any concussions, hangovers, bruised egos, bad music, confessions of love, wine mishaps, owls, rampaging water buffalo, or misplaced dignity. RE: Day of Wine & Love! (but mostly wine) Feb. 14th! - ExAtomos - 02-08-2017 We will be starting the jousting at 8 pm EST! Here’s how it’ll work: “A match is three lances. One point is awarded for breaking a lance on a man between waist and neck; two points for breaking on the helmet. It’s difficult. The helmet sweeps back, most blows glance off leaving the lance unbroken. Three points for bearing a rider to the ground.” We will use /random ranges for points: 0-100 is a miss, 101-500 is a point, 501-900 is a headshot (2 pts), 901+ unhorses (3 pts). We’ll tally up the points after 3 passes, highest wins. We’ll be using a basic bracket system. If you wish to joust against someone in particular, let us know at the start.
