Hello I am new here and I honestly have been thinking of joining FFXIV's RP for a while but it seems that the roleplay server has been taken down? I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me where people roleplay now

Square-Enix hasn't really ever done an official roleplay-designated type of setup. Previously, Balmung had been chosen as the unofficial server, but it's full to the point of being unstable when expansions and patches come out.
Mateus has been largely agreed upon as another option for roleplay and its population has been growing at a steady rate. If you're looking for a server with more activity in EU hours, then Omega is a good recommendation.
