*trips and stumbles, falling to her hands and knees*

"Oof! Uh...eh, heh heh... Hi there!!" she says with a wide grin and blushing cheeks as she stands, dusting off her knees and palms.

*looks around the forums with large, curious eyes*

"Oh my! This place looks interesting...even promising...I wonder... "



(( Hello out there forum peoples! Ever since recently leaving my old MMO and RP group because of reasons that I won't get into here, I've been reluctant to jump back into the whole RP scene and community. But one of my friends who is already a member here told me about this site. It seems really nice! Creative, helpful people all around from what i've seen. Big Grin I've already been excitedly waiting for ARR to be released all year, I can't believe it didn't occur to me to check into an RP community for FFxiv. Mostly due to my attention being taken up by my former group and game.

Anyroad, I'm not unfamiliar with the FF series but I only briefly played xiv 1.0. Mostly, i've only played the titles from VII on. I missed out on the earliest ones. >_<

I'm a little unsure about my character, which is a problem that strangely I don't mind having, I'm not sure if i should play the character I've been RPing for the last year or if I should start a whole new concept. My current main would translate easily to the world of Eorzea, and I'm also emotionally invested in her story at this point. But starting from a clean slate also sounds good. Meh, I just don't know. :/ It's fun to figure out though! hehe

Well yea, I think that's all for this introduction. Can't wait to talk with you all more here on the forums and in game! ))

Sounds like you're almost decidedly going to make a female feline or Lalafell for your stumbling character. Big Grin
but hey, cats have excellent balance, shouldn't be stumbling easily.

You will be right at home here. There has been a lot of new arrivals(myself included) that have been in other RP communities and are looking for something fresh and new. 

This community has been a breath of fresh air for me and I am sure you will feel the same way.

If you need help with anything let us know! There is a lot of awesome people on Hydaelyn.

@Falkner  haha that's so funny you say that! I'm having trouble deciding between those two races right now! Blush  I'm  using my friend's benchmark file to play around with character creation to see what looks suit best Big Grin

Oh I'm totally glad it's just a ball of dust!
I thought it is some kind of spore that will attach to the crack in the wall and grows a pink mold which gives a sweet smell of candy to your room,
that or some kind of germ that infects you with a flu that makes you craves cotton candy and turns your skin pink for three days.

Welcome.  

You've still got plenty of time to decide.  I find that to be hardest part sometimes.  I've got about 7 characters I can jump into.  Just depends on the mood that I want to play.
