Alexandre Larille - Alexandre - 10-03-2013 I. Basic Info  Characters:Alexandre Larille Primary character: Alexandre Larille Linkshells:Larille Primary RP linkshell:None yet. [*] II. RP Style  Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium.  I'm not always IC, depending on the circumstances.  I tend not to treat quests/events in game as canon for the character either -- he has his own path, his own history, separate from the mechanics of the process of leveling.  That said, I do RP quite a bit, when I find a nice group to play with, and frequently prefer a good bit of RP to leveling. Views on RP combat and injuries: We are here to tell a story, no?  Combat and injuries need to be realistic, but just like any good action movie, one should generally allow outs to let the hero or villain (or anyone in between) to live another day.  Death should only be the willing culmination of a rather significant story line. Views on IC romance: I've no problem with IC romance.  Who doesn't enjoy a good love story?  That said, Alexandre IC'ly isn't the most personable of people, and I imagine this will be difficult to foster with him without quite a bit of time spent. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I've no problem with this either.  Non romantic RP can be great.  Forging friendships, etc is all part of the growth of a character. Views on lore: I love lore.  Sadly, I'm not an expert.  I haven't kept up with the FF series since the good old days of VII.  I prefer my RP to be within the realm of realism of the fictional setting we've agreed to play in. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Pages/general are treated as OOC. My own linkshell (Larille) and others dedicated for RP, says, poses all are treated as IC.  In general, I prefer posing to just plain says, as motion and description add an additional depth to RP, but sometimes, the spoken word is all that is necessary.
