Danger Approches [Backstory, Hipparion Tribe RP] - Torvhan - 10-08-2013 ((Occurs the morning after A Trial and Foraging Open to tribe members present in camp at time of occurance)) 19th Sun, 5th Astral Moon, 2nd Year of the Seventh Umbral Era K'mana woke the next morning in pain. Her body ached of overworked muscles and exhaustion, not to mention the various bruises and her broken arm. She looked around the familiar tent and realized she was at K'luha's. Her sister must have brought her here after she collapsed. K'mana thought about closing her eyes and drifting back to slumber for a moment before deciding to extract herself from the bedroll. The elder's would likely be gathering the tribe this morning to discuss the impending attack, and she thought it likely that K'luha would want to have a word with her before long. K'mana rolled the bedding as best she could manage with only one hand, before settling in the middle of the tent to stretch her sore muscles. She relaxed as she slowly moved through the various muscle groups wary not to jostle her arm. Stretch and hold, breath and release, she repeated the simple steps as she awaited what the morning sun would bring. RE: Danger Approches [Backstory, Hipparion Tribe RP] - Nauta Lyehga - 11-05-2013 K'luha wiped the sweat from her brow as she hauled the last jug of water from the water supply back to the camp. Their water supply was a little far out, and since she had to use so much water to clean K'mana's injuries, she had to replinsh their readied supplies. K'luha picked up the cermanic jug once more and continued walking, using her shoulder to help balance the weight so she could walk normally. The camp was awake with early morning activity while the burning sun rose over the peaks of the sand to give welcomed warmth from the freezing desert night. K'luha felt the sun hit her olive skin and shuddered faintly with a small happiness. The kind of small happiness that could only come from being at home. K'luha dropped the jug off in front of her tent before peering inside to check on K'ailia and K'mana. Her sister had passed out after suddenly returning, and K'luha refused to let anyone see K'mana or tend to her wounds besides herself. At least, not until K'luha could give her sister a damn good talking to. To her surprise, K'mana was already up and stretching on her bedroll. K'luha didn't see K'ailia in the tent either, so she was either hinding deep beneath her covers or already out and about. "K'mana!" The elder sister called lightly, giving a warm smile as she slipped into the tent to sit next to K'mana. "I'm so glad you're safe and..." she paused only to slap K'mana very sharply across the cheek again. "You're an idiot! What were you thinking doing all of that!? And bringing someone you hardly knew back with you! I could wring you scrawny neck!" she hissed furiously, grabbing for her sister's hand to hold it with her own. "Don't think I'm going to forgive you for this either K'mana. You're a child now more than ever, and you're going to have to fight with us before you could ever change anyone's mind that you failed your trial and abandoned us." K'luha narrowed her gaze for a few moments before moving in to hug K'mana lightly again. "K'mana... I love you sister, so please. Listen to me... I don't want to loose you." K'luha confessed softly, holding back her unbridled flurry of emotions. RE: Danger Approches [Backstory, Hipparion Tribe RP] - Torvhan - 11-22-2013 K'mana sighed inwardly and tried to remain calm, she wanted to argue with K'luha but getting emotional would do little when K'luha was in one of her moods. K'mana looked her sister in the eyes and tried to steadfast agianst the storm. "K'luha, I'm home and safe...if a little worse for wear. Perhaps it would have ended more favorably if I had convinced you to come with me, but I did not wish the tribe to think us both missing. You say it was childish and rash decision. But I fully understood the repercussions of failing my trial. You may not believe in the guidance of the spirits but both K'ailia and I were training with K'piru our tribe's shaman. There is no doubt in my mind they guided me truly in my 'youthful adventure.' As for K'rei I would consider no one who fought along side me in battle and travelled the sands along side me as a 'stranger.' She is a distant sister who lost her own tribe much as we lost much of ours during the Fall." K'mana lowered her eyes, "I am sorry that my actions caused you to worry, but I love you and the tribe and I would never abandon either. But we were taught to listen to our feelings and I do not believe it coincidence that I discovered what I did. I will accept whatever punishment you and the elders deem fit after, but I do not regret taking action." K'mana raised her eyes once more. "Lets go find out what the elders plan to do about the Amalj'aa." |
