I'm actually not concerned come Live launch though. I have a feeling the server will be much less crowded.

yah that very disrutive, but i think many of the people playing at the moment are ones just playing it because it's Open Beta

Agreed, they have opened more servers so I'm guessing they would like the population spread out a little more. Some of these players may not even come to Live and are just playing a free game pretty much.

Plus crowding tends to happen when everyone is buzzing around the beginner areas. Gridania is the worst to me since it's all narrow pathways. Not uncommon to stumble into a spawning area to see it covered with players.

^ Having ran from Area to Area, Gridania is really the worst when it comes to lag. Server's going down is expected during Beta. Be patient, wait a few hours and it will return. Even Figaro hasn't locked down completely.

Yeah, Gridania is sooo laggy <_< I'd say Limsa-Lominsa is the best city on Besaid to avoid lag, with Ul'dah being somewhere in the middle, depending on where you're at (the tavern and the first camp are the laggiest, while the rest of the area is pretty lag-free).
