I'm new to Balmung, and the FFXIV ARR RP community, but fortunately I am no stranger to the art of Roleplaying at large.
As it stands I am trying to decide on a good character to play as, right now on Excalibur my main character is a jack of all trades superhero that's busy on her way to collecting every relic under the sun and generally be an all purpose middle finger to the scummy forces of evil that plague Eorzea
HOWEVER, I don't want my main RP character to be this, I would like for my RP character to struggle and need to rely on the aid of friends he or she makes in his or her journeys.
You know that nostalgic feeling in FF11, where you where just STRANDED, lost, and otherwise unable to get from point A to point B, until others showed up and banded we all banded together to brave through a SINGLE ZONE.
I want to try to replicate that old feeling through narrative, or get close to it at least, as well as weaving a story as we all go along.
Please leave suggestions, thoughts, and words of welcome as you wish ^_^
