--MMORPG background
Although I've hopped from dozens of MMOs the one I played mainly was World of Warcraft.
--RP experience
I began role playing in online communities when I was thirteen years old, and did so constantly in various games until I was twenty.Â
During that time I RP'd primarily on two games, Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast being the beginning of my experiences and the ever life consuming World of Warcraft taking up the reigns as my first MMO to RP in.Â

None at the moment, still learning everything lore-wise really.
--How did you learn about the coalition?

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
Medium to heavy, I really like details and well thought plots, but at the same time recognize that I do not have the time I once did.Â
--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
During my six years in WoW I learned to be both a considerate and more well thought out RP'er, eventually being given leadership of one of Moon Guard's oldest, continuously active Alliance RP guilds, although I'm hesitant to say which since a great deal of drama surrounds that server and I don't wish for any of it to follow me here.

Greetings and welcome to the RPC Tah,
As a note, long time WoW player here as well, though I was mostly on Steamwheedle Cartell, with alts scattered across Twisting Nether and WRA. I'll admit it seems like the majority of WoW roleplayers were from moonguard, then again it was like the Mal'ganis of Roleplay. (Though my PVE was on Doomhammer before Jugg left, then I went to Deathwing to play with Enigma, but I digress.)

That is a welcome post for the whole of the RPC, focused on giving you a bit of information both about the site as a whole, and about some of the resources we have here for everyone to use. (The Lantern being a particular favorite of mine.)

The "Coalition" is an OOC Hub linkshell for roleplayers across that server, allowing you to get to know whos about, where they might be and if you can drop in for some shenanigans.. love that word.. shenanigans.

Hey, welcome to the RPC and Gilgamesh.
Also an ex-WoW player! Â Played on Moon Guard for a while, but it wasn't really my style. Â Switched to Earthen Ring, myself.
Gilgamesh's hotspots tend to be in Limsa, at the Wench and Bismarck, although it also shows up in the Adventurer Guilds of the other cities. Â There's also one of the big events coming up at the end of the month (see:Â http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/calendar.php?action=event&eid=57) that is a great way to meet a bunch of the community. Â Looking forward to seeing you in-game!

Glad you broke way from the drama on Moon Guard, and I wish you luck with your fresh start. I never played on that server, but I've seen my share of WoW RP.
