A more formal hello. - xelliexell - 02-21-2014

Although I've done a small scattering of posts on this site and have lurked here for quite a while, I figure that it couldn't hurt to offer a formal introduction of myself to the community. (Was it a faux pas to just jump in and start posting? I'm not sure.)

I think that it is really inspiring to see so many RPers and RP hopefuls gathered in one place, especially with how disjointed the RP community was with FFXI.

I've been an Event Coordinator with the USH FC since before launch, and have a lot of experience with planning large, social events. (The Thal's Eve Masquerade and Thanksautumas are a couple of examples, heh.)

I hope to bring some of my event ideas to the community here, and open them up to the general public of Balmung (sorry, Gilgamesh, but that is my home server!) I'm not sure if I will be hosting them under a new Linkshell idea that I have, or if I will be hosting them as a representative of the USH, but stay tuned!

My favorite types of RP are open events and character-driven, and I hope to meet some like-minded individuals here while making an attempt at not stepping on too many toes. While I try to be polite, I to tend to joke around a lot and I'm not always sure if glibness translates well over text. I also intend to overuse the moogle emote in my posts. You have been warned.

Moogle Moogle Moogle

Edit: Let's make this interesting while we're here. So, I would pose a question -- if your character could be likened to a country from Hetalia, which would they be?

For my part, I think Seer is most like Japan, and Haii = America. Wow, now that I think about it, that explains so much...

(Disclaimer: This is just meant to be a silly, arbitrary question for the sake of funsies.)

ooo~OH! great question

Hrm... Either Prussia or Sweden. I haven't watched much of the anime, mostly the web comic for me.

Good to hear you're going to bring some USH fun to the event calendar!

And yes, i've come to putting [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] around certain statements because dry humor/ tone of voice can go hay-wire through text so very easily. Undecided
