One Impressive Invitation for the one Impressive Dennthota Ahtahrmwyn - Kage - 03-27-2014
Kage scrambled to get the letter written, not sure exactly how it would be taken. As a joke perhaps? Most likely, right? Who would even think it possible, if not for a prank?
But it was definitely not a prank. Kage was not one to make a joke of things like this. What was this? Kage wanted and needed a date to the ball that was being held in Ul'dah and he knew exactly who he wanted to ask.
One Dennthota Ahtahrmwyn.Â
Kage rolled the letter up and sealed it. He found his friend and mentor, Natalie Mcbeef and asked her to pass a message along to Denn. A friendly spar in the future or something or other. He didn't want to tell her, he could only imagine the ground swallowing him up if Denn decided it would be hilarious to tell Natalie the contents of the letter before rejecting him.

Natalie holds the letter, "Kage has more fight in him than I thought..." she muses, chuckling slightly. It wasn't hard to find Denn, the Roe was nothing if not flashy, and Natalie simply followed reports of her tall, purple haired presence. She finally came upon her, and thrust the letter into her hands, "Hey Denn" she says grinning tauntingly, "Kage wants a rematch".

Dennthota looked at the Miqo'te completely taken back by the statement. She unfolded the paper and began skimming it over.
"A rematch? You have got to me messing with me right? This is really some letter of arrest isn-...."
She suddenly fell silent as it hit her...this was the real deal. Not only was it weird that someone was actually asking her out, but a Lalafell of all things. She crumpled the paper up in her hand, as she furrowed her eyebrows, obviously upset.
"The balls on that man! He really thinks that...How could he even...."
She shakes her head as she turns her back to Natalie and puts the crumpled piece of paper in her pocket.Â
"Tell him that he better be there. I don't like waiting."
