And I would kill for the opportunity to have some small RP where I can specifically make jewelry over clothes for once, especially something so meaningful. I would really like to make a diamond ring or something and flex my 3-star Goldsmith skills (and obviously not charge anyone for anything).

I'd be great if goldsmiths could craft wedding/bond rings. Otto would become a household name for the stuff!

(He's already a household name for clothes)

berrod doesn't have any otto swag tho, he just wears the same leathers until they get stinky, washes them when his friends complain then wears them again

I noticed that the gear that's created shows who created it so there should be a market to have Master Vann's brand on your hand!

I remember in a MUD long ago some people had the ability to engrave and embroider gear. This discussion made me think of that. Considering gear can remember what materia and glamour is saved on it, it would be a nice extra have the ability to engrave.

I'm sure there are other people out there willing to perform your ceremony, but I can guarantee you they're not nearly as drunk, lecherous, or belligerent as I am.
