The Missing Flesh - Avernus - 10-12-2014

A three young hyur women have gone missing in Ul'dah in the past two days, leaving not a single trace of them save for perhaps a single scrap of cloth from the hem of one of their skirts.  No one knows where they have gone or where they might have been taken.

No one ever notices the lesser sheep waiting to be culled. They do not see the blood that spills - the shadows that shift and awaken.

This is Ul'dah after all.  Who wold notice three missing people in a sea of avarice?

Who would notice a humble seamstress, a refugee, and a lone dancer in a city where coin matters above all?

No one.

No one until it is far too late.

Three young men have gone missing in the depths of the Shroud, vanishing without a single trace.  No one knows where they have gone or where they may have been taken.

No one ever notices the lesser sheep waiting to be culled. They do not hear the screams that ring out into the night -- the jaws that snap and snarl in the moving darkness.

This is Gridania after all.  Who wold notice three missing people when the Elementals must be served?

Who would notice an Ala Mhigan refugee marked with the Woodsin of his ancestors, a moon keeper struggling to shake his poacher-roots, and a Duskwight with no claim to fame or fortune?

No one.

No one until it is far too late.

A three innocent children have gone missing in the fields of La Noscea in the past seven suns, leaving not a single trace of them save for perhaps a broken toy or a scrap of colored cloth.  No one knows where they have gone or where they might have been taken.

No one ever notices the lesser sheep waiting to be culled. They do not feel the prick of daggers against their skin -- the agony as flesh is hewn from bone.

This is Limsa Lominsa after all.  Who would notice three missing people when there are oceans of plunder?

Who would notice the impoverished youth hoping to grow unto a rogue, the son of a poor shepherd lost while tending flock, and a lone girl fishing for clams in a city once born of pirates?

No one.

No one until it is far too late.

But is that really true?

Will no one really notice?

Does the Flesh truly go Missing when so many lives are lost?

A Spirit walks the streets of Ul'dah.

A Pale Lady Dressed in White.

Wearing a Blood Red Lotus.

She weeps of the blood that has been spilled unseen.

The screams that have gone unheard.

The pain that has snuffed out Nald's blessing.

She comes on the Third Bell* of the Third Day of the First Astral Moon.

Find her.  Help her.

Please.
