Tavern Roulette at The Red Hibiscus We welcome all to a social event on the Omega (EU) server! The Tavern Roulette is scheduled to arrive at the Red Hibiscus and its' grand opening on the 28th of February 2018. Our IC location is the outskirts of Limsa Lominsa and our OOC location is at Ward 14, Plot 1 of the Mist. The Event starts at around 7 pm and lasts until around 11 pm Server Time (GMT+0 | PST+8). Event in the Forum Calendar What is this the Red Hibiscus? What can you expect? The Red Hibiscus is the brainchild and base of operations for The Path of the Rootless FC. We aim to provide an 'underworld bar' atmosphere, with softer lights and discrete lascivious tones, some variety from the most commonly cheerful sunlit locales. There will be dancers and performers personified by our FC members, but we do not promote or sell any ERP. This is not our goal, and not our interest, so please do not expect that from us. We usually hop on our alts in order to provide steady presences to the establishment, as we know that NPCs don't do a job "good enough" to breathe a soul into a place. The 'soul' itself is given by people, with a great and unforgettable service. We want The Red Hibiscus to become a point of reference as an underground bar for all RPers on Omega, and we hope that you will enjoy the warm, crimson-hued atmosphere that we will provide. From the 28th of February 2018 onward, the Red Hibiscus will be fully operative and open for whoever wishes to come by, so you are more than welcome to seek RP in our establishment. Omega as a server has a distinct lack of a big social hub, so as an answer to a warm community of sometimes thinly spread roleplayers on the server: the Tavern Roulette, hosted and managed by the lovely Teteraki Neneraki. In their words... Tavern roulette is a weekly recurring event that gives three spots a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) to give folks a nice social place to meet new people outside of their respective companies. It is to bring the community together by giving instead of hubs, new places each week to meet at! It mostly starts around 7 pm server time, but is open officially the entire day! The places of tavern roulette exist mostly out of taverns out there in Eorzea and player made residences. I'm not either. The small thin black text on a see-through background makes them really tough to read. At least before the white on black made the text pop out.

Depends on the FC and the group very much In my current FC, we have events that are DM'd by someone, and then there's some casual situations where there is none. We, personally, use the ingame /random without any specific system. The DM holding the event decides the limits players have to overcome, depending on the difficulty of the task and the circumstances.

Welcome, Marina! I'm sure if you decide to go to Balmung, you'll find plenty of people to RP with. The trick is to just jump right into it and not worry too much. There's not much to mess up, really! Your English looks really good, and you've already RP'd in other places, right? It isn't that much different, although I remember the first few times I roleplayed on WoW in the past - I was scared shitless and everyone seemed to type so fast and I had no idea what I was doing. :'D But with a bit of experience, it got easier. Found a few friends, some of which I'm still friends with 10 years later. The point of this little reminiscing was... that be brave and go for it. Maybe toss a Making Connections post on the forums, and you might get lucky with some nice folks to give you an easy entry to the community on whatever server you pick Wherever you go, good luck and have fun!

Ahh alright, yeah. Yeah the quotes, if they're even a slight bit wrong when switching from source to editor, mess up everything. But it's all cool anyway. I'm happy with what we have! If the toolbar doesn't match up well, then that's fine. It would only save a little time, really.

Yeah, was doing it for our club site already, since I noticed technically much of HTML was possible, even if there wasn't a button to do it. But it's good that there's more buttons now for easier access to those features. Noticed also while HTML coding, that sometimes the editor does funky things when you switch from source to preview, and then back. The editor cleans up the code the way it wants it, even sometimes messing it up and tossing random <p></p> s in there with spaces in them just to "fix it". Not that that's nothing that can't be worked with. Just a little interesting when it happens to not like you putting some elements inside other elements. I also noticed that it has the ability to make larger titles (<h1>,<h2>... up until <h4>), but those have to be manually coded in. The editor itself only puts in paragraph elements with different style options. Have you thought about implementing set title formatting options for the editor? Of course it's more of a 'quick option', versus going through font size and bolding each and every time, not necessary but it'd make formatting titles and subtitles faster on the go.

Really loving the added features in the editor! No more manual coding of text Justify \o/ I just came here to ask if it would be possible (as it hadn't been enabled at first), and there it is - already implemented. And the tables too!

He's fiercely loyal to those he considers worth it, although he has high standards and can often come across standoffish or even rude, albeit never without logical cause. Usually online between: 4 pm til 11 pm UK time during weekdays, later than that during most weekends. Intensity: Heavy RP with a long experience in RP. I started roleplaying over 15 years ago on different mediums and have a good 10 years of experience over MMO RP. I prefer darker mature and realistic themes, simply because I enjoy conveying the sometimes depressing realities of life in my RP. When RP packs some sort of emotional punch, is when I enjoy it the most. That's why I generally can't be found in everyday tavern RP unless there's some character development or long-term connections to be made. If I'm putting my time in something, I want it to be more long term than a single evening of chatter. Besides RP, I do some crafting and only PvE to support my crafting habits, really. RP is the main course, although crafting and furnishing houses is a close second in terms of favorite activities.

Can verify and confirm! There's definitely RP on Omega. The community may be small, but we have new people coming in every day, every week and our Discord community is really active. It's a nice server, especially since it's in the EU region and the time zones are a bit more forgiving for us europeans.
