Hey everyone. Im pretty new to RP . Still learning the ropes but getting better. I have joined up with a nice Ls and had the opportunity to learn from a couple members. With the new Exp, I decided to make some changes to Ember. Something about Ember: 1. He can be very reserved at first meeting but tends to warm up after getting to know you. 2. He is very loyal and goes out of his way to support his comrades. 3. Very interested in the arts of Magic and learning all he can ( for story reasons) 4. Can be very forgetful at times and he is scared of lalafell. I'll stop there for now. Ne ways. I am looking to generate more opportunities to build his character through experiences with others and also help others do the same. A long term connect would be awesome. if anyone is interested plz Pm me. {Ember is in Gridania right now and is in a bit of trouble. Of recent, he has been investigating the disappearance of his sister ( not actually blood related - she raised him ) and digging up information about his family's past. After questioning an odd looking elderly Elzen man in Old Gridania, he was led to an area in the Black Shroud where he was met by a group Miqot'e who immediately attacked him. Ember is currently on the run and is nursing an injury to his right shoulder.} So I am looking for anyone or more who are to jump in at this point. rescue Ember and hopefully forge a lasting friendship. ( because I haven't yet thought up of what happens next in terms of his investigation and story beyond his rescue, I was thinking to have ember taking out of gridania or somewhere safe while he recovers physically and mentally from the incident. This would be a great time to get to know his new friends and learn about their story.) I do hope to catch the eye of someone out there. ohh a bit about me personally: A bit shy - but like Ember I warm up, I get rather anxious when rping which tends to slow me down a bit so bear with( new rper), big FF fan and love me some cut scenes ( don't you dear rush me i am watching this), and love love helping out folks with Pve so feel free to ask. anyways thanks for reading hope it wasn't too long more about ember can be found on his Wiki. hi all. I recently returned to the game and boy did i miss playing. As u can imagine, most of the folks i played with are no longer on. So, i am looking to make new friends and connections . I am also looking to make a stronger effort into rp this time around. Rp style: not really sure yet but i would like to blend rp with pve. Such as dungeons fates etc being relative to a persons story. Not sure if folks do that but if it is, Plz pick me Character :L leona Ember. He is a male miqote. Sell sword/adventurer. Known by some as Ember. He did not grow up among his clan due to inner conflicts and war forcing his parents to send him away. In fear for his safety Ember's caretaker kept him safe , and secluded from the population. At 25 he is out in search of more information about his past and to seek out his caretaker who has gone missing. still needs some development i think(open to any advice). I would love to join a rp linkshell and hopefully add rping to my gaming experience.. Also fyi i tend to get really nervous when trying to rping dunno why. So a patient group would be lovely.. Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well. So I decided to finally post a thread and inroduce myself on this site after awhile of lurking several threads and discussions. As the subject would suggest, I am a returning player. Starting playing FF14 eversince beta up untill last year this same time but unfortunatley had to step away from the game due to RL circumstances. I have been following the game tho and I just cant wait to get back on and playing with the Balmung community.(best server:lol:) . with an interest in RP, I have always wanted to involve my character, but never really felt comfortable in my rp skills to do much.plus really get the nervs when attempting to. (oh no i dont know what else to say moments arhhhh) Abit more on myself. Love watching cutscenes , helping players especially new players. I kknow i Probaly posted this too early being that i wont be back just yet. But Im just so hyped to get back. with that said, I have already activated my account so add L'leona Ember if you wish and i look forward to playing with yah soon. . laterz!! :chocobo: --MMORPG background Some MMORPG i have played are 1. FF11 online. This was my first and didnt know much of what I was doing. Also, Didnt play much due to my pc limitations. Then came Guildwars, World Of Warcraft for 2 periods. Finally DCUO for an extensive period. --RP experience During my second go with WOW, I joined an RP guild. This was my first time RPing and really enjoyed it eventhough i was a bit slow with dialog. what little i know i learnt from those guys. so yeah , I am a bit green when it comes to Rp but i am soooo ready to learn and become better. --Character ideas/info So a bit about L'leona Ember. Ember is a male miqote. He prefers to go and is known by Ember for certain reasons. Although his story is still a working progress, I do have new ideas for him. Generally He is very laid back and dont care ish but when there is a person in need, he doesnt hesitate to offer his help( especially for the females). Yup he can be a bit of a perv at times but is generally a good guy at heart. (Irvine from ff8 would be a good comparison). After asking about rp groups and linkshells in shout, I was told that this was the place to go. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? I would say Light to medium. I do also love pve and main story so some of my attention goes to that aspect of the game. However, If i could find an RP group who blends Rp stories along with Ms Dungeons and other Pve, that would be kool. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) . well some hobbies are.. you guessed it playing video games especially rpg. love chilling with familly ( big on family time). I am in the videographer / video editor profession (still learning) and currently aiming to start a small business in the field.

However , I would like to take this oppourtunity to learn abit more. I have been playing FF14 for quite a while (since Beta) and have always wanted to involve myself with Rp. I have manage to wet my toes with afew random rper but never really finding that group of folks. I think MSQ rp may be more my style.
