It's basically taking a role and acting it. But, uh, I'd say extensive. With many regrets. --Character ideas/info Planning on making my character a belligerent drunkard with serious issues. I mean, I can do a good cynical drunk. --How did you learn about the coalition? Used to RP pre-ARR. I think I had an account here, but the email I used was more than likely wiped from the provider's database more than a year or two ago. My character was some female Miqo'te with a name with too few syllables. Nhir Nimba, I think? Hells if I remember. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Medium-Heavy. I enjoy going OOC when I need a break. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I shoot plastic pellets with Chinese made "toy" guns in an warehouse-turned-arena if that answers your question. :^)

I live about 2 miles from Siesta Key beach. i've actually found a handful of people living in florida on here, myself n erik included. we're over near panama city beach o3o Yeah I'm in Sarasota, about an hour south of Tampa. Hello there, I'm Nimba! I've been roleplaying for a good four or five years now). I've been playing XIV for about two or three days, and I am enjoying it very much! I've played other MMO's and roleplaying there, but ran out of interest for those games. I'm mostly used to those hard-to-figure-out-UI MMO's, but so far I'm doing okay. I just want a place I can roleplay in a good player base. Now my questions to the experienced RPr's here.. Is there anything different IC-wise/OOC-wise that you do? Is it like any other places where you use parenthesis or double slashes to show you're talking OOC while in a IC moment? How do you guys RP emotes without using the emote commands (/me or /e depends what/if XIV uses.) I have other questions, but I will leave you all with one more. How do the newbies of XIV start off with roleplaying here? Hope to RP with you guys!
