  1. Just....just yes....please...let this happen.
  2. Got bullied out of a DF run in Sohm Al yesterday, during the part where you're encountering the cryo dragon, I was dancing around the AoE because I was trying to reduce the stress on the healer, anything to reduce workload is accepted for me. However I accidentally ran in front of a Monk during their positionals, and he got smacked by two Flash Floods and a Granite Rain, and was basically murdered. Supposedly the rest of the people were his friends, and they called me a joke because I wasn't able to keep the AoE from hitting them. GM'd them after I was booted from the dungeon, I hope I never meet them again.
  3. In terms of their usage of the word, both words mean the same, it just depends strictly on where you go and who you are talking to. They were both around during the 12th century, and operated as agents to people like lords and even shoguns.
  4. If you have any questions I will answer, I am currently typing out an essay (Currently over 1700 words, trying to break up the boredom at work) and I'll be using some information I got during my stay in Nabari.
  5. Flavor Text Guaranteed to not steal your hard-earned gil. Use to obtain a Wind-Up Tatty Minion Guide Crafted by the Goldsmith's Guild of Ul'dah along with the Alchemist's Guild, Wind-Up Tatties have become a huge hit among kids for the fact that when idle, the Wind-Up Tatty will act as if she fell asleep. However after encountering some issues with early models stealing money from people like a pickpocket, the Goldsmith's Guild has since cut ties with the Alchemist's Guild on this particular model. Behavior Obedient Idle Animation Uses the idle pose #4 and sometimes rubs her hand together and her tail sticks up as if scheming. Hover Text "Check your wallet Ser." -Lucas Anpol Summon Text Summon your Wind-Up Tatty, 100% guaranteed to entertain guests and small children.
  6. owI would not mind working for your character, I have some experience with advertisements in terms of roleplaying, so if you need to get your name out there and well known to the people of every nation, I'm your girl.
  7. Sorry for the double post, but I'll be making a thread somewhere that has a list of what I learned during my stay in Nabari, hopefully it'll be of some help to people around here.
  8. If you want to be a real shinobi you need to remember some basic principals. 1.) Ninjutsu is not a martial art, it is the art of espionage and guerrilla warfare along with sabotage. It involves trickery, so if you wish to be a real shinobi you cannot be the type of person to be confrontational. 2.) Real shinobi would never resort to flashy mudra if you are going for accuracy. Shinobi were revered for their subtlety, and more often than not if a real shinobi was on an assignment, they would use weapons fitted for silent kills, such as wires or knives slitting throats. They would never use anything that would cause needless attention to themselves. I recommend looking up real weapons that a ninja would use (being tantos, kunai -which are just repurposed farming tools- caltrops, and poisons.) 3.) Choose your attire appropriately. A real ninja fits into their surroundings, and camouflage is their best means of defense. This does not mean wear a white uniform when in a snowy environment, instead bring a white coat, and then shed it once you are in a place like a castle or a cavern to help you keep hidden. Also, hiding is a ninja's main objective if suspicion is raised, if the need arises they will abandon assignments in order to preserve their identity and thus the identity of the person they hired. I highly recommend not using the ninja af as it has metallic pieces that could give you away. The most subtle ninja outfit (And most accurate might I add) is the ilvl 115 attire you can get from the market boards. It completely covers the face, has a very small amount of reflective sections, and can be dyed. Also unlike popular media, a real shinobi never wears black because it still sticks out in the dead of night. The moon casts a blue wavelength, and shinobi of the Iga province used dark navy blue as their color of choice as it helped make them hard to spot at night time. 4.) Their lifestyle is also important to mimic, a real ninja was trained to the tiniest of details, such as using shuriken stars to fool an opponent and take advantage of superstitions, or to just sleep on their left sides at all times. (This was to make it easier to protect their heart while they slept, their left arm would cover the front of their chest where their heart would be.) 5.) Be tactical as well, if something goes wrong like being caught in the act, you need to have thought something out far beforehand. Having caltrops to impede pursuers was a nice move used by ninja to escape, so make sure you have contingency plans. I really hope all of this helps.
  9. Holy crap look at that firework.... and mini Yugiri ;~; I so want
  10. I like your avatar and that it has a nice little rainbow in it :3
  11. It boils down to how you go about correcting them. If you kindly point it out from time to time, they won't get ticked off. However if every time they make a mistake and you correct them, they might take it as an insult to their intelligence. I once made a tiny mistake on spelling, and someone went off on me with a rant about how everyone he RP's with is always breaking his focus every time there is a spelling error. I'll quote him on this, he says mispelling is the equivalent to "A needle being plunged into the base of my neck." Just be polite about it, otherwise people will just come to ignore you.
  12. Totally 100% made up by her, it'll have a really overly grand name, and she'll have some kind of funky title that makes her sound like she's all that and a bag of chips. Deep down she's a really nice person, she just has a lying problem.
