Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm nt ready to rp yet, but I want to start getting her character background stsrted , but I had some questions first.
I was wondering, is it alright to have my character born in Sharlayan? I want her to be from outside of the three city states ( right now, I'm kind of following the main story, so since she came from outside in the game,  that's where I wanna start -so she will be an adventurer). Her guardian is Thailak the scholar (I just picked whatever I thought would be a good match for personality wise when I first created her, so I never thought of lore at all), I was thinking that since he's her guardian she could come from Sharlayan (of course, she could just come from somewhere else and still have him as her guardian). But, I'm not sure if it could work. I've read up on what I could find on Sharlayan ( I have also  considered that maybe she could have come from doman -though this would be before yugiri came to Eoreza-), though I may have missed some things. But I'm wondering if it could work, since I'm just in the beginning phase right now,I don't have any big ideas. She loves learning, is quiet and is an adventurer, that's what I have so far (not much, but it is a start).
Considering that my character would come to Ul'dah (that's where she would start out) when our player  came/started in the city states (2.0 version, I never played 1.0, so I need/want to read up on that), timeline wise would it work, or should I consider making her a doman or from some other island/area?
Sorry for the (probably) confusing thoughts (I'm still trying to figure things out as well), any tips or thoughts you guys have for if i did have her born in Sharalayan, doman or whatever or things i need to think of would be great help.Â
