I was thinking of getting back into a MMO, cause I miss rp and such...so the question I have for you all is:

Is RP still alive and well here? If so, is there a NA server best for it?Â
Thanks! I'm debating between FF, Rift and ESO.Â
I kinda miss my little kat grifter though.

I joined Balmung last night, which from what I understand is the unofficial RP server, and have already run into random RP twice and lots of opportunities for more. If you look in the right places and make yourself available it looks like you'll have more than your fill.

Balmung is definitely the place. If you join, make a thread on the RP Connections section. I did the same and have more RP than I know what to do with. I've been having a blast over the last few months with it.

Hello there! Balmung is definitely the most active RP server. Gilgamesh may still have some RPers left, but I think most have transferred or quit playing. I would definitely recommend Balmung, but it's near impossible to get onto the server without paying for a character transfer.

Thanks everyone! I'm patiently waiting for the game to download onto my laptop, then I'm off to Balmung! Or maybe a transfer. Or maybe I already have a character or three there.
