"Well I guess I got some explaining to do Im Ashkara Bloodclaw the White Dragoon!"

"MM-what now? What are you talkin-" Ashkara freezes in place. Sorry Ashkara tends to talk alot but I know this question was directed towards me. I have played World of Warcraft since release and quit in most the way through the Cataclysm (also nearly having max level of everything at the time). I tried Rift but didnt really get into it. I played the beta for Aion but again didnt get into it. The Secret World (yea you guessed it) Star Wars the Old Republic an-No I actually enjoyed that one the story quest was great but having no one to play with pretty much killed it for me as my friends were still into wow at the time. and last but not least I have recently played Guild wars 2 which I did enjoy but have felt like I have run out of things to do. Oh I also played lots of free to play mmo's and Guild wars 1 before I forget.

I have both pen and paper and online experiance surely that deserves a level up? Either way I have played DND, Vampire the Masquerade, Warhammer 40k Death watch, Warhammer 40k Dark Herasy. I also RPed on WOW, Guildwars 2, and Starwars the Old Republic.

Whilst being new to Final Fantasy 14 and still learning the lore and stuff IÂ Know that she will be a Miqo'te female and probably a Dragoon but thats about it but I do have a few idea's which I can share but nothing fully fleshed out at the momment.

Ashkara may have a daughter depending on if my friend rolls a Miqo'te.

A relic of the past! Ashkara unfreezes "Im not that old!" Ashkara freezes again sorry about that the duration must of worn off.

Ashkara is from her late thirties to early fourties in age.

I would say I am medium Role Player at the scale of 5.2 (dont ask)

First off if I destroyed the English language Im sorry im Dyslexic, Im 22 live in the UK I play lots of games, mainly co-op or RPG's I watch Anime, Currently Fairy Tail, Naruto and One Piece. did watch Sword Art online but it finished noooooooo for now. I currently have no job and I have a dog called Dagur who is a Beegle. I skype alot with friends like chinese food. and thats about it and hope to RP with ye all in the future! I suppose I better unfreeze Ashkara now. Ashkara unfreezes "As I was saying befor-hey why is everyone leaveing!"

I tried to participate in a Rogue Trader game once but that was the closest to any real Warhammer stuff I've done. Kudos to you for being able to do both 40k AND Dark Heresy.

What server did you play on in SWTOR and WoW?

Seekers of the Sun, I believe, make good Dragoons. Keepers look cooler in the older armor designs I looked at though. Big Grin

I'm all about the looking cooler.

Oh I knew I forgot to mention somthing I played on Lord Calypho (Or somthing like that in SWTOR) and on WoW I played on Defias Brotherhood mostly and a bit on Argent Dawn for an RP project.

Knowing me probably be spending most of my beta experiance in the character customisation.

Race doesn't matter much when it comes to your job choice, statistically anyway. Lalafell Dragoon can be just as epic as a Elezen.. though I think the Elezen dragoons look faaar more awesome than any other race (Eva~Wear your armor more often!). I'm thinking highlander females are going to look pretty sweet as dragoons too.

Hi! I always appreciate when anyone who wants to roleplay a mature female character. Sometimes it feels like women go into hiding when they turn 30, while older male characters just become more respected. I mean, okay, my main is still gonna be quite young in ARR, but I have played ladies in their 30s and 40s (or racial equivalent of such age ranges) in various other games. And I want to make a Roegadyn lady who's at least 50.

As someone who also has tabletop RP experience, I definitely think you deserve a level up. :3

My old main (I'm making her a secondary in ARR) is a miqo'te in her late 30's. So glad to see people playing older characters at all, much less older female characters. <3

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I thought a bit more about my characters idea's and thought I would continue to share them

Ashkara spent most of her childhood as a slave building machines of the war but was eventually rescued by a joint effort of free companies. due to years of captivity it made her forget where she was from and what her parents look like. The free company "The New Dawn" took in Ashkara and her Hyur friend Kavarlis who also was rescued. At first the the two children had little education but the leader of the free comapny second in command/advisor volunteered to teach them both Ashkara eventually learned to read even if a bit slow but never got the hang of writeing.

Years later when the two became old enough they started to take jobs for the guild as they had also been training to combat. even though the jobs were simple ones since they was only just of age.

The company's Blacksmith forged them an armour each. One was white which went to Ashkara the other black which went to Karvarlis when they questioned about the colour it was found out that Dragoon's in the past would jump off and they wouldnt be able to tell which ones were which from a distance so as a joke the 3rd master (who was long gone at the present time) colour Coordinated them. So they became the White and Black Dragoon of The New Dawn.

Even more years later the 5th master (The one who saved them from their horrible childhood) grew old and eventually passed on giveing the company a new master Ashkara was now in her mid twenties. During one job in Limsa Lominsa where sheÂ came across a Male Miqo'te Bard called Savine. they eventually fell in love and had a child.

Couple of months after

Savine was missing. Ashkara let herself get mugged and gave up the Gil she was carrying for her childs protection feeling a new kind of fear she never felt before.

Years later, she has grown twenty odd years older. her child has left home and war maybe comming.

Well thats it for the story idea's at the momment some day I will write it as a story.

Ashkara's personality is normally cheerfull but can get a bit emotional/agressive on certain topics. she is also a blacksmith (Which is what she will begin with in A Realm Reborn, or well what people are lead to belive.)

She is a hunter by nature and when hunting for somthing or someone she chases them by scent.

What she mainly wants to do is help out the new generation as the generation before her helped her out.

Somtimes when Ashkara stares into the fire she gets flash backs, which somtimes means she has to shut off the forge and sit down, or go for a walk.

But anyway yes I appreciate the warm welcome!

Edit: I figured she would have alot of history due to being olderish.
