Raised: Gridania - Member of the Archer's Guild

Personality: Xha is a verious person who may seem cold and distant, even to her friends, though this is actually due to her hiding her feelings.Xha has a short temper, usually acting before thinking, due to hiding her emotions, if she begins to feel lonely, she will simply leave the situation.

Goals: To rebuild her life, to allow herself to feel the full range emotions once more

Early childhood: Xha enjoyed a happy childhood, learning the ways and customs of her tribe, as well as undertaking training in Archery, eventually signing up to Gridania's Archers Guild and enjoying an adventurous life protecting the Twelvsewood and its residents. Though Xha's mother died whe she relatively young, her tribe raised her and her siblings well, though the mystery of Syrath's death was never resolved.

Age 16: During one of her outings with her comrades from the Archer's Guild, Xha helped bring down a troup of Garlean Scouts who had entered the Shroud. As an act of revenge, the surviving Scouts returned, following Xha to her tribe and slaughtered them. Xha herself was taken hostage and tortured for almost 4 years, being fed only enough scraps to keep her barely alive.

Age 20: Neglect affects more than just a body, it also affects the world around and so, on the edge of insanity Xha, after almost 4 years, Xha's chains broke free of the wall, bringing with it a chunk of the brickwork. Filled with the strength of the mad and knowing this was her only hope, she waited for prisoners to bring her some scraps, during which time she burst into a frenxy of movement, crushing the guard's skull and finally escaping her torment.

Age 21: After a long year of recovery, Xha shunned her emotions in favour of a cold dedicated training, refusing to allow anyone the opportunity to taker command of her like the Garleans once did. It was during this time that Xha heard rumours that her father may be alive. A small glimmer of hope began to burn in her chest, threatening to melt the ice that had form around her heart and she tracked him down. She was devastated to find that her father was a worshipper of Zodiark, the God of the Ascians and chose to confront him about it. He placed a curse on her, which is responsible for her differently coloured eyes. The curse would shorten her lifespan. Should she have 10 years of natural life left, then she would die in 10 months due to the curse. Furious, Xha launched a posion tipped arrow at her father's heart, though it only hit the wall behind him as he vanished from sight.

Currently: Now, at almost 23, Xha has spent her remaining time researching her curse and tracking her father. The only known cure for such a curse is to kill the source and so Xha knew she had to kill her father or die trying. With every ounce of skill at her disposal, she tracked her father throughout Eorzea and Coerthas, finally killing her father and lifting the curse, her lifespan returned to normal though her bosy still shows the sign of the curse (her different coloured eyes).

Finally free from her past, Xha has felt seperated from the rest of the world and it was this loneliness that brought her back to the cities where she has slowly begun to meet new people who may even grow to become trusted friends, finally melting the ice around her heart.

So since I've been getting PMs still asking about the FC or asking to join I figured I'd post here just as an extra precaution to help clear up some confusion. I am only barely affiliated with the Blades anymore as merely a member of the OOC LS, I stepped down as the leader both IC and OOC from the FC and transferred ownership over to Raze, so for all questions and inquiries I suggest going to him, not me, as any questions regarding the FC directed to me will not be answered.

The Blades of Nald'Thal will be undergoing some changes in the next few days. During this time we will still accept applications, however recruitment is on pause until things settle. Changes will be happening ICly and OOCly and new information will be posted.
