I popped onto the wiki to try to create a page for my character, but it won't let me create a new account. Is this intentional? Are we not adding anything new to the wiki until after the game launches?

Yeah, sorry about the confusion. I made several attempts to remove the "create an account" button entirely during the relaunch of the wiki awhile back. Unfortunately, MediaWiki (and/or just that particular template) link the login/register buttons together in the coding. So removing one ends up removing both. I'll try to look into it again though to see if I can find a workaround.

It's okay! I should have stopped to read the instructions. >.> Maybe a note when you click the "create account" that says "Read the instructions noob!" (No, I'm kidding, unless it's me, then you can call me a noob).

If you're able to add custom CSS, perhaps you could add a style to hide the register button? Not the same as removing it, but it's something.
