Haha I have seen more Hyur, Miqo'te, and Wildwood than the other races and Duskwight looks to be the smallest minority so you guys should give yourself more credit then saying you're not getting enough love haha. But this sounds cool if I made a Wildwood I would join, but alas Duskwight stole my heart. As for all us in the minorities stick together lets take down these blasted Hyur a peg.

The statistics as I have gathered them: (these are loose figures based off of various polls)

In Eorzea -

Miqo'te - 50%
Seeker 60%
Keeper 40%

Hyur - 25%
Midlander 75%
Highlander 25%

Elezen - 13%
Wildwood 50%
Duskwight 50%

Roegadyn - 7%
Sea Wolves 90%
Helsguard 10%

Lalafell - 5%
Plains 50%
Dunes 50%

Again, there is no scienxe behind these numbers, they are based off approximations from polls on both this site, and wikia. Therefore they are also limited to the RP community and Gilgamung.

I am going to duck under SE's character lock and remake Eshura into my long-wanted Elezen warrior. Big Grin

Â I just need to figure out what the surnames of Wildwoods are... already have her first name (Jaenelle).

Unfortunately there isn't much there about surnames :/ but I like the name Jaenelle!

So.. I did a little umm... research for Wildwood surnames using this name generator, which is based on the in-game name generator. This seems to use actual French surnames, while the in-game one just seems to be a "mash word parts together and hope for a french-sound" type name generator lol. HOWEVER, I have not seen any of the in-game name generator names on any of the NPCs... I have found several of the website surnames in-game...

But first, and explanation about what I did: I took a standard piece of lined paper and clicked generate once for each line in the paper and wrote the name down (27 names), with the top part of the page used for "Other" and "special" names; which I will explain later. After I had my 27 names, I clicked generate for 15 minutes and wrote down the amount of times a name on my list popped up.

The names with the with most occurrences are the largest families, while the smallest amount, might be noble/aristocratic/wealthy or even just hick families. Tongue

Or it could be the opposite; highest occurrences are the wealthier families (more money -> more food -> more babies).

So with that I give you my list of Wildwood Families!

That's it! It's up to you whether or now you use this information, I like the idea, so I thought I would share it, especially since these surnames are both canon (for the most part) and lore-friendly. Smile

Other Names: The website kept spitting out French surnames, but I wasn't going to write them all down, I just noted them as being either families that died out, or it was just some person that made up their own surname and went about making babies (lol). There was 30 of them when I stopped counting, with some of them having 3 or 4 repeats). The funniest was "Crapponne" and "Sermisy". xD

Special Names: These were just names I really liked the sound of, but they didn't come up when I was making the list... Estienne, Tristelle (my favourites of this mini-list), Sordraix, and Beaujeux.
