Does anyone know if I have to buy the PS3 copy of the game in order to play it on my PS3? Â Or can I download it onto my HDD (like other titles) since I own a PC copy?

I'm going to have to send my laptop to get repaired and would still like to play FFXIV but not if I have to buy another copy. Â (Lol I may be slightly impatient but I'm not that impatient)

you have to buy a copy, though you subscription should cover both type(I think)

course don't quote me on that, I haven't tried. it.

Your account has to have both a PS3 and PC game code on it to play on both platforms. So you do have to buy both versions, but you only subscribe once and your characters are the same.
