Ul'dah; A place to meet and greet. A place to relax and drink with friends. And.. A place to get attacked?
Multiple witnesses saw a young, midlander Blacksmith was attacked in the middle of the Quicksand by a seeker Miqo'te who goes by the name of 'Sano'. We have yet to learn of the Blacksmith's name.
Why would this 'Sano' person attack a defenseless man who was simply eating? Sources say it was due to a woman that has a connection between the Blacksmith and Sano but this isn't a love triangle, I apologize to the readers who may be interested in such a story. Actually, it was simply an act of.. Over Bearing Brotherly Love?
The woman, who is known as Miria, was seen with the Blacksmith a few times before. However, after an argument broke out within the Quicksand, it caught this journalist' eye. Angry words were spoken by the female miqo'te Miria. Apparently, in earlier events, her brother threatened to shoot the Blacksmith.
The Blacksmith looked confused and a bit lost but after Miria left, things seemed to calm down. At least, for now.
However, the next day, the Blacksmith was seen eating and speaking to friends until Sano approached and decked the Blacksmith in the face. Dazed and confused, the smith was assisted by surrounded people but didn't fight back.
"He came out of no where and the Hyur didn't say anything to the man. I don't think he even noticed him coming!" Said a Patron of the Quicksand.
"Saw the Miqo'te fella left soon after the sucker punched was blown. Tried ta chase 'im but he ran too quick." Stated a fellow visiting from Limsa Lominsa.
Why would the man run after doing that if his actions were justified? This reporter had to dig further!
Searching for more information, I stumbled upon some saying that the Smith was pushed into seeing the woman a few times but no one has released any other word.
So, was it an act of brotherly love assisting his sister or was it just an act against the defenseless smith?
You decide but this reporter is going into hiding for now in fear of their own safety for now. Keep an eye out for more stories, gossip and like!
