If I/Milana hosted a dinner party at the Bismark in the future, how many people here would attend? [No real gil needed though that's probably a given.]

If you have a friend with a house, or a house yourself, you might want to go do it there. The Bismark is a crafting guild, and these events generally attract a good amount of people. I think OOC crafters could feel a bit bothered by a spam of /say and /em in their chatlog, and some might even respond with griefing behaviors.
Unless you do like the event of the Fullmoon Gala and have people sharing the same table form parties and RP in /p, so to not disturb non-RPers nearby. That was a great idea to me, and by far one of the events I enjoyed the most, especially because the parties/tables were randomized, so it encouraged making new friends! To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

Also I spaced but I just noticed the Bismark whatchamacall it. I may host the event in the housing district square my Guild is in.
