Introducingâ€¦ Izanami Tatewaki!
Youngest child of the Tatewaki family, sworn protectors of the Matsumotoâ€™s in the Village of Pine. Raised and trained from a young age to be both a gentle lady and a fierce wielder of steel, her way of life as she knew it came to an abrupt end at the young age of eighteen. Almost a decade has passed, and she has made her way to Eorzea to try to start a new life in a strange land. Burdened with the ghosts of her past, and struggling to find a path for the future, what sort of life will this swordmaiden forge for herself?

A little about her:
My crocodile child is fresh off the boat from Othard, and has been staying in the Quicksand while she investigates the city. She is taking up studies at the Gladiator's guild, to learn the western way of sword-wielding, but needs a more permanent place to stay. Â She is poised and ladylike, due to her upperclass upbringing, but there is a fierce core of steel hiding under her delicate appearance, and she's dealing with some personal demons on account of some severe trauma in her past.

A little about me:
I was determined to get her to 60 and get some good glamours before I started RPing with more people than her backstory people (because I am crazypants.) I'm a med-heavy RPer, and I usually post in paragraphs, but can be shorter/longer depending on the scene, the flow, etc. I like to do content, and I'm not one to hang around Quicksand idling for RP, so if I'm not actively RPing, I'm probably running dungeons or something. I'm down for darker themes, heavy plots, injuries, etc. I try to stick as close to lore as possible, but I'm still learning! (and a little flexible) I'm super shy, so I'm bad at approaching people for RP. I have a tumblr! I like to post RP logs, screenshots, and do asks and stuff. I prefer in-game RP but I am happy to do Skype, forum, googledoc RP as well, however. Dice roll events are fun, and so are IC dungeons. I just wanna RP!

What I'm looking for:
Contacts, friends, perhaps a mentor, or somebody she can protect. I'd like to get into RP combat (a la grindstone) A more permanent place to stay. (IC Inns/Hostels/etc) Linkshells or FC (she's currently in one, but in an OOC capacity) People she can learn and grow with, and forge a life forherself. PLOTS. Stories to get invested/embroiled in. Let me help you grow, and vice versa! I prefer more serious-minded stuff, and tend to shy away from silly scenes.

Hi there! I posted my own thread a little while ago asking for connections for my new character Raih, and reading yours I'm interested in meeting your character! Raih currently resides in the Goblet so nips into Ul'dah/The Quicksand quite often, so maybe Raih and Izanami can bump into each other and have a drink!Â

Also my FC, the Dread Wyrms, are currently looking for more members. We're a Skypirate crew based in the Goblet and we host weekly RP events as well RPing generally in our mansion, a mansion which, if your character joins, can stay in. ;D If you'd like more info please visit our site here! If you like fighting and plots you are more welcomed to come hang out with The Empyrean Vanguard. We have a wednesday fight night with members called 'I Cast Fist'. It isn't a large event. No prizes. Just senseless beatings. We try to keep it small as we don't want it to turn into the Grindstone. Don't think our little spar area can handle 50+ people.

You could even take part in the normal plot lines we have. Reiner is running an xmas special plot line and still working with his own cult one. Of course with the holidays you might only be able to catch a few people online until the later hours of the day. You don't need to join the fc as I don't feel that should be a requirement for having fun and you are more than welcomed for an invite to the alliance Ls. It often can be quiet but when events happen you are free to announce in it or just ask if anyone wants to meet up for rp.

While I can't offer you any kind of RP Linkshell or FC, as I am in none myself (yet), I'd suppose it would be fun roleplaying with you! Much like Izanami, Liselotte(Not her birth name) arrived also only in Eorzea recently, mainly because so I can get away with not knowing too much about the lore Tongue

. Not to mention I'm also super shy about approaching people!

Then again that might be such a good idea, while I don't have a WikiProfile yet Lise is a rather silly character, which would make a nice mix with her refined behaviour if they hit it off right, or at least that's what I think based off experiences I made so far.

That, however, doesn't mean she is a comedic relief character or something, as I well intend to use her for serious plot stuff and I would actually love if her carefree and positive character would break (a bit) under the edgy pressure of, well, depressing stuff? Not to mention she would suit the role of being protected as she would love diving into danger while playing the threat of injury (and death) down!

I can't sadly offer you any good opportunity since my character is designed in a purely supportive character way, but RP is always an option. Although she might not be of great help since she spends her time being a bit lost herself, the more obscure the things, the more she will be interested, so you bet exotic Doman stuff would.

Being a semi-displaced Xaela myself - with a very dark personal storyline that's only just now starting *wink wink* - I can whole heartedly recommendÂ Wayfarer's of EorzeaÂ - they run an IC inn that's got off the ground conducting regular events, with a small but friendly community.Â

While Stroud isn't the biggest fan of other Au Ra in general, I can see quite a few subplots coming of this - especially considering he favors blades and axes. If you find yourself interested give 'RiniKett' a message over the RPC or add her in-game under 'L'Rinhi Kett' you might also try 'L'raha Nunh' or myself - Stroud Forscythe.

Even if you don't settle into our little niche I look forward to running into you out there in the world. Best of luck and happy hunting!

I'm located in the Eastern Time zone, but I can be found online as early as 8 am and as late as 3-4 am, though I am most often online between 8 pm to 2 am.
