
I'm okay with being a moderator. I think such a role needs to be mostly hands-off and relying on words backed up with reason more than authoritative action. That's pretty much how I conduct myself anyway. I'd rather piss people off because they felt I didn't act with enough force than to frighten people because I used unnecessary force. And I've got over a decade of internet debating experience. 
That seems to be the kind of moderation most people want, so if people want me to do it, I will. It's not something I want, but I feel helping keep the community healthy in this way is a worthy endeavour I'm actually capable of. If I don't get appointed, that's fine too. I'll try to be helpful to the actual moderators nonetheless.
