No worries!
At the wiki site, be sure to log in at the top-right using your forum information. After that, you can peruse the wiki templates over here: https://wiki.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/pages..._Templates Once you find one that you like, copy the code, and then you'll need to find your character's page. This can typically be found by typing in your character's name in the following url: https://wiki.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/index.php?title=character_name_here So, you'll be wanting to go to https://wiki.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/index...ah_Amariyo Once you're there, you can go to either the "Create" tab at the top of the page, or "edit this page" in the body text below that. Paste in the code from the template, fill in the information gaps, and you're good to go! |

Most use the ones with tabs since it keeps things more organized though there's a bit more coding involved. Everything is marked which makes it easy to navigate. You can also use the wiki site to upload screenshots and pictures that can be used in the spaces. Some wikis already have formal placeholders to place pictures and it usually tells you where everything is. Look for anything that says 'Text text text text' or directory text like 'Insert Name' or 'Insert Icon' and be sure to check the larger text brackets for the title of the section you're working on. Save and preview often! |

I help manage the wiki in terms of admin stuff and upkeep.
If you need any help with that kinda stuff or if any code or templates aren't working (Or you wanna know more about them) please ask any time! I get more fun out if the creation of a new page than actually updating my own. |

I've hit a problem! Every time I try to post a picture, it looks squished. It's not a horizontal image, so I don't understand why it's squished. I can't figure out how to make it look normal.

Media Images declarations follow that pattern:
[[File:yourimage.png|800px]] The second part (800px) tells the wiki that the image has to be 800px in width. You can also add a 'x' just before it so it tells it to be 800px in height. [[File:yourimage.png|x800px]] If it doesn't follow that pattern in the way it's declared, there might be a problem, or css/html involved somewhere. Could you copy/paste here the code snippet that causes the issue? Balmung: Suen Shyu
