Hello, I'm making this post here because there is something I wanted to do for a long time, but unfortunately, certain circumstances caused me to try on my own.
It's basically that my character's progression in terms of her skills with summoning magics has been basically at a standstill for a very long time now, and I would really like to make some new progress, and by that, I would like my character to attune to some new primals she never dealt with before.
She has already attuned to the main six ARR primals, along with Odin and Good King Moogle Mog, mostly thanks to the Sacramentum RP, and I would like my character to be able to attune to other primals.
One way she dealth with doing her attunement to a primal's essence was to conjure a 'shade' of a primal's power, usually drawing from a location that is elementally aligned to the primal in question. Then my character, along with others would basically perform one of the trial fights, usually do them on Hard Mode unsynched as a way to demonstrate that we're facing something that doesn't carry the full power of the primal(unlike Sacramentum that dealt with a true primal with the fight on Extreme instead).
Now then, what I would like to do for my character is that she could attune to Bahamut(and possibly Pheonix just for the heck of it). And for that, it would obviously require to draw forth a shade of Bahamut in a fitting location.
While my character is aware of the massive lingering presence of Bahamut's power spread all over Eorzea, she doesn't know which primal it belongs to. She also knows that this essence also seems stronger at certain points, namely, the locations of the Binding Coils of Bahamut.
So the plan would be for her to organize a small expedition to enter one of those locations in hopes of reaching a place of focus where she will be better able to draw forth the shade into a battle.
Obviously the Coils in Mor Dhona and Eastern Thanalan are inaccessible, the one in North Shroud has its entrance camouflaged, and my character wouldn't be aware of the Wood Wailers having found an entrance at the behest of Alisaie Leveilleur during her quest to uncover the truth of the Calamity.
Meaning the 'easiest' Coil to access would be the one in Vylbrand, or in Eastern La Noscea, at Castrum Occidens to be more exact.
It's a bit difficult to say though how strong the Garlean outpost is now, though I would guess it wouldn't exactly be as strong as it used to be lore-wise, due to how the Eorzean Alliance's success with Operation Archon.
Nevertheless, my plan for the RP expedition would basically to do Tier 1, 2, then 4, 5 and then 12 and 13(fights vs Pheonix and Bahamut). Mainly skipping 3 just because it could be a bit long and labyrinthian to do.
The idea behind that path is basically that the group would enter the Coil, face any remaining Allagan defenses that are still within the place until they reach the bridge of the Allagan ship in the coil, where she'd perform the spell to draw forth the primal shade(s) and face them there.
So, I wonder if I would be able to get people interested in doing this. I took a lot of time thinking about if this makes sense, if it's possible, so to speak, and not just on if an Au Ra Summoner can attune to Bahamut.
What are your thoughts? Do you think I could manage to make an RP event for this? And at what time would I have to set the event?
